  Great video , gave me much better insight . My issue is my ml63 w166 rides as in sport mode however I did not select sport or sport + when in normal ( comfort ). When I raise the car it does go up fully and I hear the compressor. When I shut off the car and lock it , I hear the compressor discharging air , front drops slightly . Anyone any input ? I’m thinking valve block as this video got me here . Thanks

  Valve block is distributor of air in airmatic suspension . When airmatic compressor is working requires air passing through airmatic compressor to valve block to air bellow and strut . Now in your car when you lock the vehicle after your journey that time you notice Airmatic compressor is working by hearing sounds, It means airmatic suspension try to maintain level according to your selections like comfor,spot ,or sport plus , So first conform body level after park overnight it means leak in strut, Visually check all wheel gap between tire and fender , How to check valve block function without tool? If valve block is defective you can't increase body hight very fast , You can't decrease body hight very fast it's taking too much time for lower body level, When car body hight lowering no need to work air matic compressor, Because just releasing air form strut , If you can't understand, ask me. I will explain again

  @@mercedessportcarrepair1944 thank you for your time to write a reply . Will see how long from the time I lock the car and days it takes to see front drop . I believe I see it drop soon as I lock the doors , I hear compressor ( I’m guessing ) discharging air ( like a blowoff valve sound on a turbo car ) and front drops a bit . Which I believe been doing that since I got it , rode fine until past three weeks .

  That’s ridiculously low for the amount of shit you have to take off to even see the damn thermostat. I noticed you took the fan out and just put a big piece of cardboard to protect the radiator. I’ve only replaced one in the past and just took the front clip off to have more room. I hate the octopus of coolant hoses on that thing.

  Which model or which drive mode means rear wheel drive or front wheel drive or 4matic, Expectations of component Brake, wheel, suspension / transfercase/ Differential check fluid level,And so on. Basic information I am explaining, If you’re car have vibration while braking and speed like 100 or 120 km 1st) symptoms like brake disc have uneven surface ,that symptom saying brake judder , If brake disc have uneven surface it’ll make vibration while braking, and you can feel on steering wheel or sometimes full body , 2nd ) wheel 🛞 rim band it’s also creating vibration, 3rd )tyre sport mark uneven surface tyre you can check road force while wheel balancing, tyre also creating vibration, Suspension like strut rod Bush/ spring control arm bushing/ lower arm bushing / subframe bush If engine mount weak, you can feel vibration when your engine speed idle like engine is starting, but the car is not moving If your car engine mount is weak, you will feel vibration complete Car . You can say complete body.

  White one is as a like lock keeping connected with vehicle body Sometimes when you are lifting car without air in suspension rear below on rear suspension that time it’s keeping connected My was broke when I was removing air bellow, So I replace, This one always broke when we are disconnected So it’s not necessary it’s safety or quality work

  Hey. Thank you for the video. My CLA (2015) has been making a LOUD roaring noise. Almost as if something is loose. I purchased a machine to determined the fault and a few codes came up regarding transmission. Mechanics want £800 just to look at my gear box! I’ve checked the symptoms of low transmission fluid and it mentioned a loud noise, from parts grinding. I think I need to update my transmission oil. Can you advise, please? Codes I am concerned about: U010187: Communication with control unit "Transmission" has a malfunction.The message is missing. U010387: Communication with the electronic selector lever module has a malfunction.The message is missing. U119800: No CAN message was received from control unit "A80 (Intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT)". U010100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Transmission". C037100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Transmission". C054100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Shift module". СО6А100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Engine". C038500: One or more signals sent from control unit "Engine" via the CAN bus is implausible. C074300: The global variant coding could not be read out of the CAN bus.

  2nd thing this model front wheel drive car flywheel bearing is mostly damage, flywheel or you can say drive plate That on rotate engine with self stater ,if flywheel bearing damage it will make sounds like metal or grinding when you'll increase engine speed it'll increase sounds, it look like sound coming from transmission or something loose inside transmission
