  Does the dye not affect the gold letters on the suede ?

  Hi I used a small brush to apply to dye around the lettering.

  You'll find the lettering is printed so applying the ink shouldn't usually be an issue as the printed letters sit on top of the suede. But it doesn't hurt to take your time and be careful around the lettering just in case.

  Hi, I put down 2 layers of paint on these and the custom paint will last more than a few years if the shoes are looked after properly.

  I apply a finisher after painting (link in description). I've found the paint splatter stays on much better than a solid colour.
