Really wanted to like this lecture. But the lecturer constantly interrupts her train of thought by asking questions to the students and getting distracted by their answers (which is I guess a good strategy for the students in the classroom to learn). I’m 40 minutes in and I don’t think I heard a single thought or observation that is longer than 3 sentences from the lecturer, yet alone a much longer arc of an argument about any aspect of the play.

She says Hermione isn’t dead but the text has Leontes burying her and Mamillius together? Maybe it doesn’t actually happen?

Roderigo is not referring to Othello when he says the “thick lips” line. In the text, he is referring to Iago talking big. “What a full fortune does the thick lips owe if he can carry it thus.” I.e. - how rich would big talkers be if they could put actions to their words. This comes a moment after Iago boasts about his hatred toward Othello and justifies his secrecy.

While this was a good presentation, upon reading the poem the very first time all of this was self evident to me. Maybe there was some language barrier involved with the class.

I think Kip Thorne is a con artist. His act meanders and contradicts itself. Most damning is that he provides no space-time diagram of how a G-Wave can be observed with laser beams when it stretches LIGO's arms and the light "by the same factor," as stated by, for example, Peter Saulson. No G-Wavist has ever solved the Rubber Ruler Puzzle because it is impossible to do so.

The instructor could be a little more dramatic and particular in choosing selected elements of the play on which to focus. Her narrative is too long-winded in general, and meandering.
