Catholics have murdered millions and that is why this religion is so powerful . They colonized and decimated people in South America and all over Europe.

This is so beautiful. The more I see things like this the more I don't understand the complaint so many have against the Novus Ordo and the priest facing the people.

Old Yankee Stadium was the real home. Painfully demolished when it shouldn't have. The new Stadium will never replace The House That Ruth Built

I only started following the Yankees in 2019 but this an emotional video. So cool to see all the legends. I love how the Yankees are just steeped in history.

I observe one of many reasons that Pope John Paul II is truly the most beloved pope by Catholics is simply his gift and ability in speaking English fluently. His English is far better than that if Pope Francis.

The first time Berra had set foot inside old Yankee Stadium since his firing 14 years earlier. What made this game so unique is that in addition to being Yogi Berra Day, Don Larsen was also in attendance, and threw out the ceremonial first pitch to his old batterymate before shaking David Cone's hand, and wishing him good luck. It worked as Cone threw a perfect game of his own. When interviewed by Bob Costas in 2009, Larsen admitted that this was the first time since his playing days that he saw a complete game in person, and that he thought about his own perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers several times a day. If I was in his shoes, I would too.

I remember that day. I was a cadet in the United States Military Academy, West Point Cadet Catholic Choir we sang Glory Glory Hallelujah....and we got up way early to get there...the Pope and the Mayor literally passed us on the street in the Pope mobile...so cool so great! Saint JPII blessed us and the crowd..and I say I have had many struggles and blessings I think God is at work and thru the intercession of this great Saint....it's funny all the moves I made I always encountered a Polish priest. My current pastor is Polish and he also met JPII. Neat

Thank you for singing on that day and for sharing your story. Interesting with the Polish priests, we are lucky to have many good priests who were inspired by the life and work of John Paul 2. God Bless!

I came across this video recently. I was at this Mass when I was about 12 years old. I was one of the scouts escorting the priests to distribute Communion. I remember being in Central Park at about 4 or 5AM. The weather was cold and miserable. All that disappeared when we saw the Pope Mobile and the Holy Father greeted the crowd before Mass began. What a great day this was!

How wonderful it is to see our late and beloved holy father , Pope John Paul II alive and in good health , not the frail man we see later on . Too see his wry smile and to hear his voice once more . To all those people that were there at that World Youth Day. U were looking at a saint in the making . Sadly this is all we have left of him , he lives on thru these videos . Praise b Jesus Christ .
