Where the flying fiddle frakking hell is it!? Yours is the second review I've seen in a week after over a year of hype, and I'm sick of being yanked around. It's nowhere to be found! Amazon, Ebay: nothing. My local Hobby Town shops don't even have a listing for pre-order! Hobby Linc and the rest of the online sites have no "coming soon" alert, and all the dozens of modellers on Utube, from Boyd and Lou and Gerry Bourget and on and on have so far made no mention of it. And those guys build EVERYTHING! What the hell is the deal with this!? And how do you get these things when nobody else can even get a lead on them? Last week I vented off on Max-of Max's Models- about this very thing, when he made a brief mention of it, after I tried to do a pre-order with Monsters in Motion. Their site said they would not charge my account until the item shipped which wasn't supposed to be until at least Friday, May 31st, when my account would be reloaded. Perfect, I thought. Wrong! They charged my account overnight, putting me in overdraft! I had to call the bank real quick to stop the payment and restore my balance to cover another bill that was due. They broke their word and caused a problem! Then I saw all the bad reviews they've got online. I will never do a pre-order again, with anyone. I buy it outright, or not at all. No wish list, no pre-order, no "watching", or none of that felgercarb! And I'm having the same problem with the clear/translucent Enterprise D kit: either they don't have it even listed, or 2 sites say "currently unavailable" along with the spider trap of the good ol' pre-order. Hell no! All the more frustrating as 2001 is my favorite movie of all time and made my choice of career- to work in film- all those years ago. I've been waiting for these kits most of my life! I had the Moon Bus and Orion back then, and now I have those again and the other 2001 kits that didn't exist back then, so I've been waiting for the Space Station kit to complete my collection. But I'm sick of waiting! Moebius better crap or get off the pot! Oh, and what are the links to buy this thing? People online keep saying they'll show links, but there's nothing comes up on screen to look into. Anyway, seen your film and model work, and love watching your videos. You're another one of the heroes in the film and modelling pantheon. Thanks for letting me vent, and would appreciate any concrete information you might have on where to actually get my hands on this puppy! And when!

Great review! Re lighting, although it's a minor disappointment that the windows are not cut out having the plastic moulded in white is the next best thing. As you say, mask the individual windows, light block and paint everything else and the windows should glow nicely.
