The second army man game was legit great, but the first one was indeed a little underwhelming. It was your mediocre 1998 action game but with plastic soldiers. The second game though, was amazing, the campaign was very well done and interesting, with very creative missions with toy soldiers fighting in real environments a la Toy Story. And the multiplayer was decent.

The army men games were so fun. The whole toy soldier gimmick was always my favorite. Even though this first one doesn’t really delve into the fact they are toys, I always loved the concept of when they fight in the real world, although the realistic biome worlds were cool too

@@ZEN_Ivan no problemo from a fellow army man to another I do hope you have tried to save as many of your soldiers throughout the game I remember playing it back in the day and i would ensure that all my men survive throughout the entire campaign it was hard and it took a lot of reloads but boy did it feel rewarding heheh

Picture this idea: 1 - Modern destruction engine like Teardown 2 - primary gameplay loop like Mercenaries (balance color relationships, buy heavy support and ordinance with money earned from missions, take down big-named targets in the Tan government and military 3 - secondary gameplay loop like freedom fighters (order you do missions affects others, such as enemy spawns)
