  We used a slim plastic putty knife. That will allow you to get in-between the batteries to get leverage to pop them out. Hope that helps! 😊

  Thanks for showing the installation of the leg seat @ 7:35. I bought a Bowflex Blaze used and only partly assembled - just yesterday, and I didn't notice that the two foam cushions could hide the steel hook-up bar if they were pushed in together all the way. I kept going back to my unit and your video (at 25% speed) and saying where the **** is the hook-up bar? In between comparisons, I took a brief cooling-down break to clean up my language for my 2 sensitive cats, and I also took the opportunity to brace myself with some well-deserved liquid fortifications. Thankfully, it took several comparisons and I quickly began to care not so much about the cooling-down part. Now, it was solving the puzzle that counted! Or was it really maximizing the number of experimental observations? You know, to collect a meaningful sample population size... Anyway, on my last and ultimately successful attempt - and quite by accident, I managed to get the cushion hook to separate the foam cushions just enough to catch a glimpse of the steel hook-up bar with my own, now somewhat blurry and incredulous eyes...

  I have the bowflex XTL, i got it 26 years ago, gonna buy the blaze today, nothing wrong with my xtl, just the newer ones seem more sturdy. The xtl has kept me in great shape.

  I just put mine together in under 2.5 hours by myself. You need a couple wrenches and philips screwdriver.

  The bubbles are from the texture on your the tub. What you can do is lay something like paper of a dry towel over the stickers and rub like crazy. Love your shower btw

  If you don't ALWAYS wrap those rods together when you're done, they will lose tension and wear out. You would be much better off with a higher end Total Gym (e.g. XLS or Fit). People are practically giving them away on craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Also, the Total Gym has an amazing amount of exercises and lots of videos here, and it's easy to fold up and move out of the way when necessary.

  Bought a Total Gym Fit Ultimate but if it doesn't work out the Bowflex Blaze was my 2nd choice as both fold up and take up very little space.

  And like the Nautilus cam-weighted resistance system, the Bowflex flexion-rods provide increased resistance through the exercise to try to match the increase in muscle strength as the motion is performed.
