What kind of sewing machine do you recommend? I’m considering doing some pouches out of canvas which is a heavier material so I want to make sure I choose something that is a good all around machine.

Hi Carlos. You ran out of time in the chess match (again). I did not send a re-match invite seeing I reckon you´re kinda short on time. Send a re-match invite when you´ve got some more time. Kind regards Alain PS I liked you´re explanation about your toolbag. I´ve got something similar but much simpler (seeing my job is less tool oriented than yours, mine is more pc and phone and paper as basic tools). My toolbag weighs about 2.5 kg (about 5 pounds) and always goes with me (from the house to the car, bike, motorcycle, whatever means off transport I use and back to the house when I´m done). It e en goes camping with me. I very seldom use anything more elaborate, I do not own any powertools and do not buy them. IF I need a powertool (let´s say every 6 months?) I prefer to rent it for 50 euros than buy it for 500.. Alain

Dude, you killed it!!!! Seriously, mine was way nicer than it needed to be. When you find sawbenches in the wild, they're hacked together with the most random crap. And none of those old-time carpenters had a plan. They just made a saw-bench. Really, yours is more legit than mine because you did it with what you have and you just winged it. Great job!

In 25yrs of working in the same place with a staff canteen , I have brought only 1 meal there , ever and thats to give that meal , a scotch egg to me wife to taste IT , I knew early on that buying meals over making them is thriple the cost , I ant that rich . So each time you eat out over cooking or making at home is 3x the cost , WHY , easy its $1 for food , $1 for wages & $1 of profit , over going to supermarket and buying food . So I buy just the food , NOT the wages or profit .
