  We got two angels in this movie, two archangels in a sort of speak, Gabriel the angel of birth, and message, played by Culkin. Michael creator of the leader, angel of the purgatory, judge of afterlife, soldier of heaven. There is a perfect circle between these two, since Gabriel is the ruler of monday, the moon, while Michael is the ruler of sunday, the last day of week, the sun. Both pieces are important in the journey of Jacob. The seer, the doctor, and the little kid all of them were Gabriel. The scientist and the demons are Michael.

  So. Cure scene, leading to station scene revealing Jacob's still seeing demons, leading to Jacob discovering Michael's severed head, leading to a final scene with Jezzie, leading to the ending that survived into the final cut. That would've been so good. I'd love a director's cut with that stuff.

  Michael is indeed Archangel Michael, the angel of purgatory, on Silent Hill, that's probably PH the sword and spear are weapons of Michael, you can tell that in a lot of paintings, and statues. Michael created the leader, he is the judge of afterlife.

  One of the funniest Day Today sketches. I believe it's a send-up of the Exegesis Seminar that ran "motivational" courses in the UK during the 70s and 80s. There's a couple of contemporaneous documentaries on youtube, as well as a Play for Today episode, "Instant Enlightenment Including VAT". You'll spot the similarities. 😉

  There should have been a proper send off for Jezabels charachter and it's such a shame they cut it out, being administered the ladder was a powerful scene but to leave such an important character to the movie as Jez unresolved is a crime!

Служить БОЖЬЕМУ СЛОВУ это значит , каждым КАДРОМ, РЕПЛИКОЙ, КУПЛЕТОМ и т.п. "ПРИВОДИТЬ" НАС, ЗРИТЕЛЕЙ, СЛУШАТЕЛЕЙ к ПОКАЯНИЮ, СПАСЕНИЮ ДУШИ, и соответственно наоборот, максимально удалять от него. И если выбираем дьявола, то тогда то нас и ждут беды и страдания при земной жизни. НО БОГА ОБИДЕТЬ НЕ ВОЗМОЖНО ОН БЕССТРАСТЕН, а вот ХУЛА ЕГО это БОЛЬШОЙ ГРЕХ. А ГРЕХ это РАНА которую человек наносит прежде всего сам СВОЕЙ ДУШЕ. РАНА которая ОТКРЫВАЕТ ДУШУ ДЛЯ ДЕМОНОВ мучителей, БЕСОВ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ, слуг дьявола. А почему это происходит. Господь наш Иисус Христос, будучи распятым на кресте, для нашего спасения(под спасением понимается спасение души от ада, после физической смерти тела), воскрес, тем самым победив дьявола, но очень попрал огромную дьявольскую гордыню. И дьявол начал мстить Господу, вот например с помощью таких “деятелей”, подобно создателям этого фильма. А КАК ОСУЩЕСТВЛЯЕТСЯ дьявольская месть, в этом же заключается и НАСМЕШКА над зрителем. САМ ФИЛЬМ НАМЕРЕННО «РАЗЖИГАЕТ», но В ДУШАХ самих ЗРИТЕЛЕЙ, действие множества СТРАШНЫХ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ, таких как СТРАСТЬ К всякой БЕСОВЩИНЕ, ПОХОТЬ, ТЯГА К АЛКОГОЛЮ, ТЩЕСЛАВИЕ(ПАГУБНАЯ СТРАСТЬ К ЛЮДСКОЙ СЛАВЕ), ЧРЕВОУГОДИЕ, ГНЕВ, НЕНАВИСТЬ, МЕСТЬ. И ВОТ ТАК, ОГРОМНОЕ БОЛЬШИНСТВО ЛЮДЕЙ, ВОЛЬНО ИЛИ НЕ ВОЛЬНО СОГРЕШАЮТ (не вольно значит что, грех только у себя в уме, под действием той или иной порочной страсти, является таким же грехом), И ДЬЯВОЛ «ВВОДИТ» В ДУШУ человека ДЕМОНОВ МУЧИТЕЛЕЙ разных ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ. Ну А «ОБЩЕНИЕ» человека в жизни С любым ДЕМОНОМ, «ПРИВЕДЁТ» рано или поздно только к одному, или К ПСИХИЧЕСКОМУ РАССТРОЙСТВУ, или УБИЙСТВУ, или САМОУБИЙСТВУ. И к АДУ для ДУШИ после физической СМЕРТИ тела. А ПОЧЕМУ МАНИПУЛЯЦИЯ. ПРИОРИТЕТНЫМ демоном который завладевает душой человека после просмотра фильма БУДЕТ ДЕМОН МУЧИТЕЛЬ ПРИВЛЕКАЮЩИЙ К всякой БЕСОВЩИНЕ. ПОТОМУ ЧТО КАК реально примерно ВЫГЛЯДИТ ЭТОТ ДЕМОН ПОКАЗАНО В ФИЛЬМЕ. Но И ЗАЩИТА тоже существует. ЕСЛИ СОГРЕШИЛ (даже только в мыслях, в данном случае почувствовал в себе проявление этих пороков), надо сразу же ПРОИЗНОСИТЬ МОЛИТВУ ГОСПОДА нашего ИИСУСА ХРИСТА. «ГОСПОДИ ИИСУСЕ ХРИСТЕ СЫНЕ БОЖИЙ СПАСИ И ПОМИЛУЙ МЕНЯ ГРЕШНОГО». Стопроцентно помогает. Также в фильме происходит скрытое пропагандирование той мысли что своих демонов можно успокоить, и тогда они станут «ангелами», А как, нужно ПРОДАТЬ свою ДУШУ ДЬЯВОЛУ. Только всем прельстившимся надо обязательно ЗНАТЬ РЕКОМЕНДАЦИЮ от наших ПРАВОСЛАВНЫХ (ПРАВОСЛАВИЕ значит ПРАВИЛЬНОЕ СЛАВИЕ ГОСПОДА нашего ИИСУСА ХРИСТА) СВЯТЫХ ОТЦОВ. Звучит так : ДЬЯВОЛ ВЕЛИКИЙ ЛЖЕЦ, и ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО ОБМАНЕТ человека. «Чем усерднее «служит» ему ЧЕЛОВЕК, тем СТРАШНЕЕ БУДЕТ его земная СМЕРТЬ, а что будет с его ДУШОЙ , после СМЕРТИ тела, так и вообще представить СТРАШНО». Да И надо учитывать. ДЬЯВОЛЬСКАЯ МЕСТЬ БОГУ ПРОИСХОДИТ И НЕ БЕЗ и НАШЕГО УЧАСТИЯ. ПОТОМУ ЧТО это МЫ НЕ ХОТИМ ОТКАЗЫВАТЬСЯ ОТ греха, от СВОИХ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ. И ВОТ как БЫЛО БЫ ХОРОШО, ЧТОБЫ КАЖДЫЙ зритель ПОНИМАЛ это. НО ЭТО очень «тонкие» моменты, ПОНЯТЬ которые МОЖНО будет ТОЛЬКО ЧИТАЯ, И ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧАЯ КНИГУ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. Да и ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ это ГОРДЫНЯ, ТЩЕСЛАВИЕ, ЛУКАВСТВО, СЕБЯЛЮБИЕ, ТРУСОСТЬ, ЧЕЛОВЕКОУГОДИЕ, ЗАВИСТЬ, ЖАДНОСТЬ, ОСУЖДЕНИЕ, АЛЧНОСТЬ, СКУПОСТЬ, СРЕБРОЛЮБИЕ, ЛИЦЕМЕРИЕ, УНЫНИЕ, ЧРЕВОУГОДИЕ, ГНЕВ, РЕВНОСТЬ, ВОРОВСТВО, РАЗДРАЖЕНИЕ, ВЛАСТОЛЮБИЕ, ПОХОТЬ, ЛЮБОПЫТСТВО, ПЬЯНСТВО, КУРЕНИЕ, ПРЕЛЮБОДЕЯНИЕ, ОБИДЧИВОСТЬ, ЗАСТЕНЧИВОСТЬ, ХИТРОСТЬ, РАССЕЯННОСТЬ и т.д. и т.п. Ну И ЕСЛИ каждый человек захочет "БОРОТЬСЯ" СО своими ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ , ТО для начала, НУЖНО ПОВЕРИТЬ В БОГА, ПРЕСВЯТУЮ ТРОИЦУ: ОТЦА(СОЗДАТЕЛЯ ВСЕГО ЖИВОГО И НЕ ЖИВОГО, ВИДИМОГО мира и НЕ ВИДИМОГО),через СЫНА БОГА СЛОВО(ИИСУСА ХРИСТА), СВЯТОГО ДУХА. А ЧТОБЫ "ПРИЙТИ" к БОГУ или ПОЗНАТЬ БОГА необходимо ПОКАЯНИЕ.   6:00 I just learned about the pendulum with the punch (I knew about the pendulum retreat and come back with the sidekick ) and you use it with both the jab and the right hand. Pendulum forward to jab and backward to Cross. It works beautiful, and it puts a lot of power in your nondominant hand as well. Somehow it just lines it up perfectly.   I saw “One Woman Shoe” 12:09 twice at La Mama. Was in the midst of a suicidal alcoholic depression. Amy and David Raikoff were the crown jewels, I went in crying and I left nearly crippled from laughing-non stop. Her Lucia di Lammermoor mad scene at the end was a tour de force, easily placed on the level of the great chicken divas of the past! Her sleazy rants were in the key of Evil Miner.

  1:40, I don't think many people understand how awful getting this wonderful note from your child, as it starts, and then read "Mom wants you to send her money". Either the kid is being manipulated by his mother, or money is so tight that the child is distinctly aware of it. It's like a little torture, but they gloss over it.
