Pro tip for swordsoul……REPLACE your Nibiru with 2 Kurikara Divincarnate …… no one is expecting it and it’s insane. I run 2 as well as 2 Protos and 1 copy of Kashtira Fenrir and Unicorn……helps ALLOT and it can help with some level 7 XYZ summons if you wanted to throw like Number 11 Big Eye or Red Eyes Flare or Wollow with Zeus of course.
What were your matchups?
I tried Iron Thunder over Solemn Judgement. Honestly, the card is worse. It forces you to play around it more than your opponent because the column destruction is mandatory, and you're typically just negating blowout cards like Evenly/Duster anyway which is the first thing they activate.

No way this dude got top 64 that’s crazy. No hate congrats to him but I played him in the case tourney at pixel haven the day before nats and his deck was so bad I can’t believe he got top lol. Again congrats to him tho
I was off my game at the case tourney. Was up for like 36 hours and had just gotten into Austin. Also variance was kicking my ass that day, wasn't opening well. Or I was getting hit by like 4 HTs. You're the ritual beast player right? Also tbf we only played 1 match, not a great representation for how the deck plays as a whole/on average.

Recently decided to get back in the game after 6 yrs away. I’ve watched a bunch of profiles throughout the years and almost all of the nats profiles. This one by far is the most thorough profile I’ve seen. A great in depth analysis and you can almost see how much time and effort you put in to this list. Congratulations on the top!

@@Nelex5000 I didn’t give my thoughts on the state of the game and thanks to your comment, I had to look up “cooked” lol. I honestly just like TCG’s. I play MTG and some old retro card game’s, but Yugioh was the first TCG I played and I do enjoy watching all the matches. It’s definitely looks more mentally taxing than 6yrs ago and back.
@@baki129 its not mentally taxing, it's more like literally unplayable because the format does not allow anything below tier 0. If you're not playing tier 0, you have to pray that your opponent who is playing tier 0 makes 10 blunders in a row. which is not gonna happen.

Feel for you having to play that absolutely obnoxious lab player in round 11. Guy needs to learn how to just be a decent human being. Dude was aggressive the entire time. Never gave you a chance to think about your plays and just chained lady without asking for a response several times. That is super flustering and such a mind game. Judges should’ve given him a warning so he would either stop or end up with a game loss from too many warnings. Also summoned lady (took his hand off) then changed zone and switched to attack. Then never declared skipping battle phase for his Runick card and lied to the judge and told him that’s what his intention was even though it was clear he forgot which potentially cost you the game. His “counting” the cards out loud definitely deserved a warning. It’s annoying and distracting and from the way he was doing other things it also seemed like it was an intentional mind game and was trying to make you mess up. I pray me or my buddies never have to endure the suffering you did. God speed.

Cool deck, but he got very lucky imo. One nib cooks the deck and the power of the deck solely depends on either ur opponent not seeing hand traps or them being dumb. Otherwise it’s just a fire deck with more cards
I'm going to have to disagree w you there bc: just cause I dont put a way to negate nib, doesn't mean I lose to it, popping barong insulates my plays so if they nib me I still get Kirin and ponix to hand and still have disruptions. I actually got nibed like 7 times during the event and it only mattered once (r2) bc I didn't play around it (my fault 100%). But also I played against 3 FS Yubel and 5 FSSE, and 3 Tenpai during the event, I only won 3 die rolls, and also against FSSE I won 4 of the matches and drew on one of them bc of time, I was in the process of building for otk. I was getting HTd like 2-3 times majority of games and still won them. I do acknowledge there was some luck involved like the one yubel player I beat bricked (I did have a really good hand, but him bricking def helped). Also there's a lot of ways to force nib, bc if they choose to hold it they are opting to give you free advantage. Also the deck doesn't auto lose to shifter. It is hand dependent, but it's nice to not always lose to shifter. I got shiftered by Tenpai twice during the event and won those games and I only opened 1 HT.
Always gonna be some player that never tops making the most generic argument that can be said about literally every deck with 0 thought behind what he’s saying. You lose to every deck if you don’t see handtraps game one lmao and if you actually play current format you know there are tons of chokepoints where nib kills the Meta decks as well which was why we saw a bunch of topping lists maining it.
