This is a simple concept when I buy something if I like it I’ll post a review here. All reviews are my opinion from actual use. Any discounts or items given to me will be disclosed in the video.
Makes a big difference when the bricks are carefully cut to the correct angles. Very tidy job.

Thanks for the kind words. The kit was very fun to build and I love admiring the brickwork while cooking

Nice work... Did you price out the materials to DIY it Vs. the Kit? Is there a much difference in that and the D105 Kit ?

I don’t think you could buy all of the bricks precut and all of the materials for the cost of the kit. I could have spent over 3x and had a premade oven delivered. I think if I were to buy uncut firebrick and cut them along with all the other materials I would have spent 80% of the cost of the entire kit and had 500% more labor. The kit is well worth it and well thought out

Great product! Very easy to apply! An excellent DIY project with fantastic results. I agree that the back edges of the 'brick' has a lot of flash. I remove the flash with a bench grinder from the entire contents of a box in one shot ..... saves me a lot of 'back & forth' doing one piece at a time during installation. Virtually no waste. 5 out of five in my book!

@@bryan06107 yes as i have been bingeing on watching pizza oven builds . So as to decide nd plan ours , of course its both our decisions. Its about size nd location in our 50x 100 sand lot on the bay . So salt water is a consideration i have to account for as well . But after weighing all these factors i hope to start in early September, hopefully by December we will have success. Thankyou again for sharing your enthusiasm nd endeavor's it has inspired us .

Type 1, type 2 fire bricks ? Whats that mean ?

The kit comes with 3 different types (cuts) of bricks. I think in one of the videos I show the difference

What are the dimensions of the base? Looks like a good amount of surround to the oven. Also dry stack fireplace? I guess no seismic activity near you.
@bryan06107Ай бұрын
Base is 5’x6’ not a ton of width after rendering and insulation. Ohio is not known for it’s earthquakes.

Did you have to tell the town? And get an inspection on your foundation? Or does it qualify as landscaping?

Yes I have taken my time with it and it’s been an easy process. I have hit a few snags but not too many and nothing major.
