From collectibles to books, music, movies, TV shows and everything in between. This is where the rest of our nerdhood/geekhood come to express itself!

Oh, this is real nice. I hope there's a figure of everybody. I like the Archie comics a lot. I have a few random issues of the series, a collection, the first of the April miniseries, and a Mutanimals issue or two. Those stories are so out there. It's an Archie thing, they have some of the most outlandish and imaginative writers.
So for Archie, there is Slash, Jagwar, Dreadmon and Ray Fillet. They are making the 4 turtles in their wrestling outfits and Mondo Gecko. So Def stuff in the works. I love the Archie series and have everything Archie put out TMNT. They were great and wished they had continied
These look real nice. I have a few different Bebop and Rock Steady figures. I got a couple that transform into their human form. And I'm sure some other versions I don't remember now.
Yeah, these are really nice. And they just released the transforming ones! I had those growing up.

Playmates is re-releasing the same toys. It's not reimaginds or originals by Neca. But it's cool they're doing that!

I love ET, the movie, and this figure, but now that I can get a good look at him from head to toe, he really is hideous. Especially the toes. Alf and ET definitely need to be buddies, what a crossover.
Lol will love pairing ET with Alf and even Groot! And yeah, ET isn't pretty, but itsndef a sweet figure

I've thought of this before, long time ago when I was still able to collect toys, pairing up finger skateboards with figures. Not necessarily with the Turtles. Just in general, turn everyone into a skater. Never managed to actually do it, but it was a thought I had. Still, it's pretty cool to pair up Turtles characters with Turtle themed skateboards. They should just all come with skateboards as part of their accessories, but no, there's more money to be had if sold separately. Nothing's changed since I was a kid.
To be fair, some did come with A skateboard. It would be nice if all did tho

Yea the stand bit is very tricky but normally I just use the stand end to poke the foot peg always works since I’ve been doing it

It definitely looks great, but I think I'm still partial to the original Frankenstein Ralph.
It's actually interesting they chose Raph for this as Leo was the original Playmates wolfman.

All three of these look great. I assume they're going to do all the villains, and the dog and the girl. Forget there names. Literally haven’t played Mega Man since Mega Man 2 when it was originally out for rent.
They are releasing three more which I have preordered. A diff colored Mega Man, cut man and I think elec man. Excited for them!
That is the Three-Section Staff, FYI. A much more complicated version of the Two-Section Staff. I don't know this guy, he doesn't look like the elite foot soldiers, but is cool, nonetheless.
I didn't recognize him either. He is done in the Mirage style but I've read he's actually an original created by eca. Which is awesome!

Never thought there would be toys based on a one episode disguise. But hey, they used to have Ralph in a spacesuit, and Mikey dressed up as a Mexican gunslinger, so I accept anything from the Turtles.
Neca is really good at singling out the more obscure characters and references. But, can't argue when they make them look so good!
This is very nice. Not only do I love Cheetos, but also Chester Cheetah. And the figure does look good. Funny how Cheetos look like clubs, you ever notice that? He can hold that big one like a weapon.
This Is Amazing.
It would be nice to have all four of the Supermen in one collection. Including Superboy, which I assume it's the one with the leather jacket. That's the story arc that was going on at the time where I almost got into comics, in terms of getting them monthly. I even had a few issues, but ended up selling them years later to buy art supplies. But it was interesting stuff, as I vaguely remember.
Superbly and eradicator are coming very soon actually! I'd love them, but not for the price tag, sadly

First off, I didn't even know there was a Donatello micro series till your gift. Secondly, I never thought they would make a toy for a one-off character. Although, they did do that Ace Duck once, who was just a TV show character, originally, in the Ninja Turtles show. But yeah, it's pretty cool they did this. No collection is complete without Kirby, the man who inspired the visual style of the Turtles.

I nearly lost my shit when I saw this. I love Alf. I definitely watched the show when it was on and in reruns. I'd collect the whole set, assuming that includes the family and maybe the neighbors. I remember they had hand puppets back in the day. Not sure about toys, though.
I think there is only one other figure and it's another Alf (which is cool, don't get me wrong). I loved the show myself
I think the original line had a samurai version, if I'm not mistaken. I remember a rabbit in samurai gear. Either way, this figure looks cool. I'm very glad Usagi is getting his own line of figures again. Well overdue.

You're remembering correctly. Took me way too long to realize the comic Usagi is the same character as the crazy gnarly armored TMNT toy 🤣
It's a cool figure. One that I did not even know about till he showed up in the background of one of your videos, or a picture. I like anthropomorphic animals, especially if they're superheroes.
Yeah, I wasn't really familiar with him either at first. But from what I have seen, he looks awesome and this figure is very well done
I guess I'm in between the "can shoot projectile" or has a standing shot. Idk if there is such thing as an in between but I'd like to see it! $20 is decent I'd say. Few bucks cheaper would be more approachable but for the hardcore fans this is solid. Almost equivalent to DBZ S.H.Figuarts
Normally they're about $35. So ingot a good price lol. But neca is always good quality
I love these toys, just to get that out first, but it kind of bothers me that those blasts don't attach to their hands and fire like a missiles with the press of a button. Unless it does and you didn't show it. It's the kid in me, I want to fire projectiles. Specifically, at the eyes.
Lol no, they don't fire like that, but i get the desire. Unless it's a retro toy, not sure any toys do that anymore. On the upside, you're gonna like Fireman a bit more, I think!

Yes, there is a Space Usagi one-shot released by Dark Horse. I don't think it's canonical to his original series, though. It's more for fun. It is amazing that Stan Sekai has been making the comic by himself for forty years. It's still going. I like Usagi's spacesuit. Especially with his bare hands and ears sticking out of his helmet. He's a talking rabbit, he doesn't need to worry about freezing in space.
Yeah, this is one of those surprise figures that, at a glance, you might just easily pass it by. But in hand, you wonder how you'd do wothout!
I love Usagi from the original cartoon. And I think they had of a toy of him back then too. If they did, I got him, and all his variations, for sure. My childhood's buried in bins. Didn't know until a few years back that he was his own character. And it began print the same year as the original Turtles comic. Which is also the same year I was born. And it's also the same year Hulkamania began. So weird.

It looks fantastic. It kind of reminds of the Batman with the suit or armor in the 90s who could fly with a jetpack, I believe. But this one here is a sight to behold. The kid in me is so excited with how massive it is.
I remember what version you mean! Yeah, this was a beauty. I think it's just a color swap on the Hellbat suit but I could be wrong. Look up that suit. It's a beast!
I get not liking the sequel trilogy, but how does it hurt the canon, I wonder, to not want to even acknowledge it? It can't possibly have strayed away that far from the original stuff. Well, now that that's out of the way, it's a nice figure despite me not knowing who she is. I like the blaster and lightsaber combo.
Disney changed the Canon vastly when they discarded Legends. Most of the original books and comics wouldn't fit into Disney's new narrative as they went in drastically different directions while stealing core plots from them for the sequel trilogy (and making it alot worse)
@@dclassd-railed1549 Okay, I see. I only know the episodic movies. If I knew all the other I'd be upset too. Perhaps I'll look up some of the novels one day. They haven't continued it, so maybe they might x the sequel trilogy. They are re-releasing episode 1. I think that's a sign. If I had one grievance, besides the story structure and character development, is that they brought Palpatine back. Kind of negates the whole Anakin fulfilling his destiny and the force allowing him to revert back to his former self in force ghost form.
Believe it or not, Palpatine coming back was in a Legends comic trilogy, starting with Dark Empire. It took place 6 years after RotJ. And, was a lot darker and much better than what Disney did. I Def get what you are saying about the prophecy. However, there IS still a balance with the way Dark Empire handled things.

For the most part, Legends was incredible. Yes, it had its... bad stories, but very little bats 1000. I would DEF start with the Thrawn trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command). They really do set up alot that comes after (book wise) regardless of the time period
I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw the thumbnail. Finally, my boys have gotten proper treatment from a toy company. The original Tokka was just a repaint of Slash with a different head. Also, I didn't know his name was "Rahzar." I thought it was "Razor" with a fancy pronunciation. They look so beautiful, worth every penny.
Agreed. It always dissapointed me Playmates rehashed like that, but I get it. I guess as kids, we were a bit more excited to get SOMETHING and let out imaginations fill in/fix the differences. Neca really did amazing with these. The details, the accessories, the articulation. Simply incredible!
@@dclassd-railed1549 As a kid, I noticed it, and the Super Shredder also used the mold from the original Shredder, now that I remember, but yeah, I was mainly happy to have toys from the movie.
The Creature is my favorite monster, and Leo is my favorite Turtle. Combine them together and we've got something special.
This one was really special, even compared to the other amazing ones in this line!
I'm not really feeling this one. Shredder should either be in a purple or violet suit. Everything else about it is fine.
That's fair..there is a variant that's muted colors I like more but I'm not opening him. At least, not right now

It's pronounced "Milmil." I like that it looks like the original comics version. I don't know the deal with the cyborg side, though visually it looks familiar.
I know there was a storyline with a cyborg/fake Thor. I just don't know much more than that. I honestly just went off the look. Loved the look!

For me, Brainiac is the one from the Superman '90s cartoon, but I do like the way this one looks, especially with those Dr. Octopus tentacles.

As much as I don't really care for Halo, save for the Red vs Blue show, I do like the suit of armor. It's very distinctive. You see it, you know it's Master Chief and not something else.
If you're just putting them on display, they all seem fine; however, if you were to play with them they'd probably fall apart.
Yeah, I sometimes worry about the more fragile aspects of collector figures

I'm not going to lie, once I saw that pizza box in the thumbnail I started to fan girl out. No collection is complete without Keno or his scooter. I'm really loving Neca, they're bringing out the lines I've always wanted. And one day, I'll have them all.

Nobody told me there was a "Batzarro." And yes, you said it right, that Bat symbol with the original outline behind it is just plain lazy. I'd show this directly to Todd on twitter if it were me and demand an explanation. I don't tolerate laziness, especially if you're paying for it. All that said, wasn't there also a Bizarro World where he came from? And a Bizarro Lois Lane? I think it was from Super Friends. Though I liked Bizarro from the 90s Superman cartoon. He was just simple and had his own Krypto that was always trying to him. That was cute.
The batzarro is relatively new within the last few years I believe. And trust me, I'm sure he knows how lazy that figure was. He usually showcases new figures at cons. I don't necessarily mind reusing parts. But that... that was a middle finger. And yeah, I loved the 90s Bizarro from the cartoon! And yes, there is/was a Bizarro world
I'm digging these IDW version of the Turtles. And yeah, they really wanna push Donnie into being the "tech guy." This isn't D&D where each Turtle has a specific role, they're all ninjas. Separately they're good, but together they're unstoppable.

Despite the Green Lantern movie failing, I would've liked seeing where they were going with Sinestro in the sequel. That little tease in the end still bothers me. The Green Lantern mythos is something I'd like to explore further, it's interesting.
Yeah, say what you will about the movie itself, the casting for Sinestro was really well done
@@dclassd-railed1549 I remember Sinestro from either the Superman cartoon or the Justice League cartoon, and yes, that actor really embodied him from what I remember.
I've always liked the look of the Storm Troopers, that body suit armor is very unique and distinctive. Even though they can't see out of those helmets. But I do have a favorite Storm Trooper, and that would be the one that's Han Solo in disguise as one. I think I got it mailed from a cereal, can't remember.

Really not feeling that face/head sculpt. Look how much better his face is done in that art in the background where he is fighting shredder. Wish it was like that. Still better than the atrocious mutant mayhem stuff tho.
I get you. I think that's where the alt head sculpt comes in. Personally I really like both but each gives a diff look and feel

They really wanted to do the Foot Ninja from the comics right. I mean, in the one collection of the original Mirage comic I have, pretty much all these weapons were shown there. It's fantastic.
Those aren't "sais," they're swords. They're too big to be considered "daggers," I think. Still, it looks nice together with Raph. A bit of exaggeration is fine when it comes to the Turtles.

Yes, that Devastator does look real good, but that Superman is giving me some Bizarro Superman vibes. Especially with that hairpiece. Still, the whole set looks like it would be cool when put together.

Great timing on the fall back, just at the end. This looks really good, and it looks just like Samuel L. Jackson, too. I assume Mace Windu had a bigger role in the Clone Wars. Very underutilized in the prequel trilogy.
