Nice looking stand..was it 3/4" or 1/2" plywood on top,and does the lacquer prevent water intrusion??

What kind of timber did you use for the face? Is it plywood?
The body is pine plywood and the doors are pine boards.

Jarhead Catfishing first off great name! 03 here.... yeah my wife let me have a tank if I made it exactly this way so I did. It is holding up amazingly. She loves it and has had me do a lot more after seeing this. Keep me informed how yours turns out.

This is the prettiest one Ive seen yet - Thank you! I am concerned with the uneven top because the tank will have pressure points on it but it looks good. Interested to see how the tank holds up
Cara F Thank you so much. I sanded it very well before but just incase I went to Lowe’s and got 1/2 foam insulation and put that under the tank to make sure the weight is evenly distributed. A year later the tank is doing great.
Safeglo is legit. I rolled my car, bent my whips, I sent them in and they sent two brand new ones. Only question they asked if I was ok from the roll. Love those guys.

Lady B sorry that I take pride in my house where I spend most of my time. Out front where I let my kids play then to look over and see that eye sore. Allowing his weeds to germinate and come over into my yard. That’s fine, you can invest your hard earned money and let your investment look like that but I will not accept it. Jose Flores i can’t remember off hand. But I did 4x 36 inch pieces for the legs. Then 4 x 48 inch pieces long, and 8 x 15 inch pieces as center supports and ends. That’s just for the frame.
@@WATCHDOG75 Is that all the wood measurements? I can get Home Depot to cut it all than take it home and assemble? Sweet stand by the way! :)

Just wonderful and thank you for your upload of Salvation Mountain . it just looks so sadly lonely without Leonard there humbly gleaming with pride and sharing the message of the love of Jesus that inspired him though his mission in his life I just miss Leonard so so much . What a lesson he left us all to learn ! To love one another just like God Loves you.

fondoo it took a while but 6 months later it is really taking off.
WATCHDOG75 it took me 5 month to get a few spots. Thinking about trying redsea coraline bottle
fondoo now at 9 months I am having to clean it off the power heads to stay ahead of it.
6 months it grows naturally if that bottle didn't speed it up to at least 2nmonths then it didn't work
