Dark smoke doesn't make the lights too hard to see for other drivers does it?
This would be just for the turn signal and reverse light, even with the dark smoke it is very visible during the day time
so my car came with something like this when i got it, wondering how i remove this
Hello you should be able to get your finger nail under the film and pull it up some times it helps to add a little heat!

Hello you just have to get your finger nail under the edge and you can pull it off!

Hey brotha wanted your opinion on wrapping tail lights for the smoked look? Do you think it will be too dark to be able to see the taillights clearly at night?
I have a 2023 black yukon denali xl and i was debating on getting a chrome delete in bkack gloss or painting the chrome, all the videos I've seen on wrapped vehicles looks awesome and to hear that it last for 4 - 5 years i think I'm leaning more towards the gloss black wrap.I'm assuming its less expensive also??? Great video brotha and would greatly appreciate your opinion on wraps

I was sent matte black which are very dull. I ordered the gloss twice now. I don't understand why I am not getting the ones this guy is putting on. Mine are not gloss. Look at what he is putting on. Theu are gloss. mine are not gloss black. I am so disappointed. So what I see you putting on is the gloss black. This is not what you sent me twice. They are horrible and not gloss. Please check for me. I just wrote you guys on ebay for a refund .
These do not have the plastic transfer tape on top of them which changed the appearance. You have to apply yours like in the Trax video then peal that protective plastic layer off.
Looks good, a lot better than the red. Im trying to decide between the tint and the actual sequential lights.

Just one question, does this affect the brightness of your reverse lights by a lot?
Isn't the wet method easier? I have done some truck graphics and always done the wet because you can measure and move it around.

Thanks for this I ordered the mat finish this morning. Question for you, wouldn’t it be easier to remove the two point covers from the bumpers before applying the cover? Seems easier than using your nail to push the edges into the creases but I’ve never done this. Thanks again Ed

How long will it take to dry without a heat gun? Currently freezing here in NJ.
It is applied dry but I would not apply until it’s at least 60 out or if you have access to a heated garage, the material is brittle when it is cold out so you can tear the film when applying. Once it is applied it will not matter on the temp. The heat gun helps with the curved portions and to lock the film in place once applied.
Just got these from you guys last week on your eBay store. I’ve done my own wrapping on my older forester. The 2019+ is not easy at all. I gave up after 30 min on the outer most lens. I took it off and placed it back on the non stick paper.I’m hoping the vinyl is still good to re-apply.
You need to do a video section just for the rear swoop on an Outback. It’s way more complicated than on the Legacy. Some tips would have probably made it easier. Rest of your videos are excellent. Thanks for making them.

Is this an option with winter climates. Does the cold affect after it is applied?
Would the non air release be the best for cold climate?
Once they are applied they can be in any climate we are in north east Ohio, I have run these on my personal vehicles for years and the weather will be -‘s in the wintertime up to around 100 in the summer time

Yes it can be taken off at any point!
Absolutely waste of $37. These are next to impossible to get on aligned correctly and without winkles. I ended up just plasti dipping them.

So you don't need a heat gun for the black vinyls, is that right?
You do not 100% need one for application however we do suggest to go over it once applied with a heat source you can use a hair drier on a high setting if you do not have access to a heat gun!

I'd prefer how to remove the trim piece off of the vehicle and put it on the vinyl. This video only shows to put new vinyl on it, which is not nearly as good. Since they will just tend to peel off. Show us to remove the trim off of the vehicle so you can do a much nicer vinyl wrap.

The spoke is a machined surface it is not painted

@@edubb2491 i would try a lighter silver color you can prob grab something at an auto parts store it wouldn’t be an exact match but it would prob make the rash a lot less noticeable!

I would like to purchase this kit for my 2024 subaru outback. Is the heat gun required for the install?
You will need a heat source if you do not have a heat gun you can use a hair drier on a high setting
@@CruxMotorsports thanks for the reply. How long do these last usually? I wash my car pretty often. Maybe hand wash most of the time but occasionally ill take it through the touch less car wash.
@@goprocbr normally we see about 4-5 years out of this material! The kits are either Avery sw900 or 3m 2080 depending on supply of bulk material
@@goprocbr and washing or the auto car wash would not be a problem
I ain't paying $ 30 - $50 bucks for that tint.
