Yes, watching this in June 2024 in Oregon...I'm 72, so I remember that day vividly! I have books and magazines and newspapers from that day, week and month that I haven't been able to look at... This is probably how those that lived during the attack on Pearl Harbor felt! I just heard that one of the violent Palestinian terrorist organizations took responsibility although that didn't come to reality...and they are still in the news this very day!

How quickly we have forgotten. It pisses me off! I was 14 then, I’m 36 now. And even though my opinion on things has changed in ways, what happened that day was terrible! And now people are on the side of the terrorists!

Kelly wisely asked if the people in the second tower evacuated after the first Tower was hit. They didn't they were all told to stay at their desks and continue to work since the fire was at the other Tower. That instruction caused massive deaths in the second tower.

I was a teenager living in England. I’d just been food shopping and was preparing a meal for my friends. My dad came into the kitchen and told me that one light aircraft had flown into the Twin Towers and to switch on the little white tv in the kitchen. I watched everything unfold live. My friends arrived and we did not eat until 10pm through watching tv, crying and general panic. Then we sat around numb. The world really did watch in absolute horror

I've watched a lot of news feeds documentaries, as all of us, I remember everything about that morning , this is how most of us seen 9/11, as it happened, it triggered so much...... I hate that day

The sad thing was, so much was missed that could have prevented this. It was later known that intelligence briefs indicated that there could be potential attacks using aircraft as part of them, coupled with young Middle Eastern men taking flight classes in Florida, and actually telling the instructors they weren't interested, or didn't need to learn how to land the planes, just fly them. Unfortunately, red flags everywhere that were missed.

I worked in TV back then and could write an entire book. It was unbelievably horrific yet the entire country was incredibly united.

Also, my boyfriend at the time was a civilian large vessel Captain. He was called to help transport injured by boat because they expected too many injuries for Bellevue, & the streets were full of people, traffic & chaos for the many expected ambulance transports to navigate. He was ready & there when the towers collapsed & was on site 24/7. Not 1 person to transport. In 2016, he was 1 of the many of thousands of rescue workers diagnosed with cancer directly tied to the event.

I was 19 yrs old. Doing electrical work on a 35 ft scissors lift. We thought it was completely bogus at first. Then the second plane hit and we freaked out and went home. Everyone thought that the whole country was under attack. We didn't know what was going on. When I got home and actually saw the video I smoked a blunt and contemplated what was going to happen next. Craziest day of my life.

The dynamic of Regis and Kelly here I would have to think was a calming presence to some extent. Kelly was expressing the fears that everybody including Regis had to have had while Regis was being more deliberately level-headed. On a day as awful as this one that must have helped some people

Have people forgotten ..This was in fact Terrorist? Wide open borders ?? Now in 2024. Is absolutely just Nuts!!!!!!! We must fully protect all Legal Citizens of THE USA!
