Us musicians don’t hear verse 2,3,4 or chorus 2,3,4 or intro 2,3,4 or solo 2,3,4 all those are for is so we can hear our selves live and so we can hear each other on stage and in the studio when we’re practicing if we wear them in the studio my band does they pick up the excess feed back too we can hear our instruments and/or our microphones and the audience we are performing for the instruments and audience noise is like a background noise and our mics are just us singing into them if we need to be counted down our audio engineers count us down not a robot they usually know when to start now backstage they count us down but being that the band wrote the song they should know when everything starts I guess it probably depends on the artist but I don’t hear that in my in ear monitors

I guess it depends on what is plugged into what on the mixer if you have a mic plugged in your gonna hear the mic only and the instruments are going to sound like a back ground noise but if you plug the guitars into the mixers or run your chords to where it all works together some how than your going to hear it it depends what’s on the mixer
