I flew my first tour in the Central Highlands, (II Corps), been to lz english a few times, LZ Bong Son, Oasis, Dak To. I can't remember all of those FSB's. I went down in my loach,(OH-6a) near Oasis I think it was. RVN- 7-/71/72. Now I flew a wheelchair. Scouts out.
But you brought his body back. Plenty left

Brand new guys should never be on point. A brand new guy had no business trying to disarm a mine. More incompetence from bad decision making.
yeah buddy there have never been rules in war..to this day. its just reactions to actions and vica versa. of course you have the honroable few situations where enemies soldiers show themseelves mutual respect

My uncle was a Tunnel Rat. He was like 5’4”. He liked it going into the tunnels . He would take only a flashlight and a 45. He died in 1999 of cancer from Agent Orange.

Australian engineers were the first to search tunnels in Vietnam and passed on their knowledge to the American's.
Look at what biden did while leaving afghanistan,, cut funding , told soldiers to leave thier gear behind ,then charged them for the loss 4 to 5 thousand dollars ,,, All while leaving the enemy EVERY GODDAMNED vehicle plane ,hellicopter,, weapons, ammo , and offices full of major INTELL ,on the very people that were our allies over there ,, then had intell on the bomber that killed the last 13 service men, and wouldnt let the guards engage the enemy ,,, fucking treasonious actions by the very people put in place to protect our country and its citizens
Lets take a moment to remember joe bidens contribution to the viet nam war ,,he and other congress members at the time voted to cut most all funding for the withdrawl opperations to get OUT of that country, endangering ALL THE SERVICES MEMBERS TRYING TO GET HOME ALIVE,, FJBATH
