“We are living in a pre-Christian era, not post-Christian.” I would say it’s pre, post, and current all at the same time. What I have discovered about the Orthodox monks is beautifully unsettling because it is another level of uncharted understanding. Mostly beautiful though. I have to almost purposely focus on other things, because it’s so heavy. Why I said we live in a pre, post, and current Christian culture is because the monks are further along in theosis than anyone else. They are eschatological persons that every layman can interact with. They are eschatological persons that live in the “today”. To put it crudely they are time-travelers that are reaching their hands back to us, who are “further back” or “lower” in theosis. And bringing us with them. Creation and person are being restored in front of our eyes. Most people see our world right now as chaos but I honestly have never felt more alive and free in my entire life. Symbolically and truly. Maybe I’m crazy. 🤷‍♂️ Just a theory.

It is surreal to hear your own life story of a long journey through multiple spiritual paths and to finally land in Orthodox Christianity. It is the home for the homeless. May God use these stories to bring others home.

The problem is that this very understanding of 'materiality' that has surely led us to a Western culture of domination and seeing other cultures as inferior and therefore deserving of either elimination or made subservient as in the various colonial projects especially the Zionist one supported by Christian Zionists to this day?

I’m 52 grew up in the Church spent some time wandering and have experience The Pursuit and thanks much both of you for shining a light into so many things that have seemed not quite right and troubled me for years. The wildness of Christ! The heroic Jesus! And lastly screens mediating when naked before God in His house! Look forward to reading your books! Thanks to whoever had a hand in letting this out. Must rewatch

Thank you for sharing this meeting and special thanks to Tiokasin Ghosthorse for sharing your perspectives. I saw the video a while ago, with lots of pauses to let certain images take effect. Since then, I have felt accompanied by a transformation impulse that transforms frozen nouns into living verbs. I'm moving e.g. from the thought “the plants on the side of the road” to the feeling “here it is planting”. I'm amazed at the wonder of this “here it is planting” and am curious to feel more of it.

Also hearing that Indigenous Welsh song stirred echoes of genetic Ancestral Memory. I deeply desire to connect with. In The coming months I plan to do so. Aho Mitakwasin, Miigwich

I am so grateful to run into this right now, today. Much Love to you! I enjoyed your book, Belonging, some years ago but feels like a lifetime ago in many ways...and appreciate the sparks I found there which continue to work magic in me. This is somehow the first time I have seen your beautiful face matched to your voice and your words resonate so deeply and gently it brings me to tears. Thank you!

Is Christendom now claiming to be Gnostic? The Gnostics have been validated after 2000 years they taught that resurrection was a spiritual experience, not a physical one. A quick dive into Thanatology shows this is correct. They were persecuted by the Church fathers and driven underground their scriptures unlike the scriptures of Christendom have not been tampered with so we can see exactly what they taught and believed in. If you ever have an epiphany you have had the experience we call gnosis all doubts about God are removed you no longer need to believe in God or have faith in God because you know God. The awakening is Gnostic in essence the real problem for the Christians is they are all programmed to worship the Demiurge. Their scripture tells them who he is and they persist in their delusions.

Human mass on earth = 36% Domesticated land mammal mass = 60% Wild mammal mass, on land = 4% 10,000 years ago there were 1500 pounds of wild mammals per human on this planet… in the year 1800 there were 200 pounds of wild mammal per human on this planet… Today there is 5 pounds of wild mammal per human on this planet… This is largely due to human overpopulation… This is ecocide. The number one thing that any one person can do to address the worldwide meta-crisis, is to support a voluntary reduction of the human population. We need a 25% ecological footprint tax for the richest 1% of the world to hire the appropriate medical staff, and set up mobile units that could go to communities around the world, paying people to get sterilized. Organizations, such as the nonprofit#WorldVasectomyDayWouldBeIdeal. When considering, renewable energy options to mitigate the suffering caused by our predicament… Don’t believe the bright green lies! There is nothing renewable about so-called “renewable energy“. Energy powers ecological devastation independent of its source. If human beings actually had an endless source of free clean green energy… Which does not exist it would only fuel the acceleration of the destruction of the biosphere. Deforestation, ocean depletion, habitat loss, desertification, biodiversity loss, soil degradation, groundwater depletion, overpopulation, rampant pollution, and the six mass extinction would all continue to accelerate. This is not a supply problem… It’s a demand problem! Fewer humans equals less suffering for all life on earth! We really need to promote government and nonprofit funded vasectomies and tubal ligations. I realize that it is unlikely that governments will pass a tax on the rich to pay for voluntary sterilization, and you may not be able to contribute, or participate in a nonprofit that funds voluntary sterilization. However, you can discuss with others whether it is ethical to bring a child onto a planet in the midst of ecological collapse. We can talk about the ways that we can mitigate suffering, or people can stay silent, remain ignorant, live in denial, continue to celebrate procreation, and contribute to the suffering. We can either reduce our population by choice… Or we can let nature do it in her unmerciful way… it’s biology 101… A life that is never brought into existence, is a life that will not have to suffer the unequivocal impending collapse.

If you take the word An-I-mal <--- and its three syllabols and run them through a Latin language translator its internal roots are exposed ,, Even the word "Free(Dom) <--- also have layers like that embedded within it.. awareness and reflection upon the internals of our language, can bring about a lot of deep internal questions..

May I ask how may I learn your language you been speaking. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. I have a black and white photo of her and for the last year I’ve been slowly reconnecting to that part of my family, by meditating and listening to music. I don’t know much about the language of Cherokee if it is similar to one you speak, like not having nouns and being a living language. Is it possible I could learn the language you speak? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. You have definitely connected some things I have been contemplating. I would like to know more about the retreats. But I’ll head to the website provided and go for there. Grateful for this video and your valuable teachings at this time. I will carry it with me into a new course I just recently started. Taught in the UK called Forest School. And the word “ethos” is going to bring about profound change in the world on how we teach our children. Grateful for my guidance to it. Beautiful people.

I was so moved by both speakers, by Lila June in particular. I am first-generation Chinese American here on Coast Salish territory, and have been healing by remembering my Han and Hakka tribal roots. I resonate so much with how and what she is saying about being in right relationship with Father Sky and Mother Earth...I am humbled by the fortitude of the indigenous people of Turtle Island, and their willingness to make amends even in the face of such atrocities. I have been privileged to meet and work with some of the Hmong and Mien indigenous peoples of China which also colonized its neighbors...we are in a global phase of healing, and must be tethered to our roots or we face obsolescence via technology and AI. I for one would much rather be tending to the Earth than flying in a spaceship to Mars.
