Hello, my name is That Minnesotan Guy. I am a new reviewer and the last one standing. I intend to succeed where the others have failed. I promise you that my work will persevere. You think it's over just because Channel Awesome disbanded? It's not over, the games have just begun!

I wish we get 13 episodes of season 5 of Samurai Jack as well instead of 10 that way it cannot be rushed.
I wish that we could get round 2 of jack vs the guardian
Hi I saw it to it was really good

YO! it's been a while! how you doin?
Doing good. I'm still in the process of getting the rest of Season 5 uploaded, but the copyright has not been kind to this review. I'm also trying to figure out some time to get different types of content out on my channel, but my personal life always keeps me busy. Either way, I haven't gone away yet.
@@ThatMinnesotanGuy1986 (8 days late on my part sheesh...) Right on man! yea personal lives though important, can be downers sometimes. Good to see you again!
When are you going to air part 5, because im looking forward to it.
The copyright battles that I've been having with this review are probably more brutal than what I had to deal with beforehand, but I hope to get the next part out by this Saturday. Part 6 is currently being worked on as well. I know for certain that Part 8 needs to be delayed as the copyright will hit that one hard if I were to upload it in its original form. Don't worry, the rest of the parts are on the way, but I must be ready to delay them in the event of copyright blocks.
Are you going to review avatar the last airbender and the legend of korra soon?
Well the thing is, I'm not sure. I've got some other projects that I'm working on and those have taken precedence over anything else right now. Maybe there was a consideration of covering those two shows at some point or another, but I don't know if they'll happen.
Awesome opening you did
Glad to know that you really liked it. The original opening was actually going to be different from this one, but it was scrapped due to schedule conflicts. I also had another opening in mind had this one been flagged by copyright, but thankfully, this one stayed.
It's great to see you back to do season 5 of samurai jack
It's the cartoon version of a blightland
6:56 wow, now it makes sense why *spoiler alert* the Robo samirai got destroyed in the last episode, but where did you get this info please?
A channel with Samurai jack retrospectives???sign me up🙌🏾, if you love giant robots then i think youd love Megas XLR
My favorite first/pilot episode of a cartoon.
I think that all Samurai Jack episodes are good. Play Race Through Time and you'll see how the show's ending would be fixed.
Hi lm brazil l can see now why this episode was banned here in brazil
This is my favourite episode of Samurai Jack. Especially the tomb moment 😬😱💀
the Lava Monster was theorized to be Thor Odinson, he reunites with his comrades in Valhalla thanks to Jack
The Scotsman being Scottish is the best joke ever
incredible
If Jack asked me to sit beside him in the temple i would say ok. Because i love him.
ME TOO BRO
Adult swim
Next time don’t linger that long after you stop talking
The reason for that is because I wasn't a fan of quick cuts/edits. I did that because I wanted to reduce things moving at a rapid fire pace, though some people said it detracted from their viewing experience. Been making some improvements with the Season 5 review and hopefully, I can find a good balance with future reviews on where I stop talking.
Please make more content
If you check my community postings, I'm providing updates on the Samurai Jack Season 5 review. The first 50 minutes of the review are complete and it will be released when it's done. There are some other things that I'm still interested in doing, such as video game walkthroughs and reading James Rolfe's autobiography, but I need to find time for those.
This episode stuck out to me when I first saw it back on Toonami.
Nice yugioh card line
To be honest, it was kind of hard for me to see the creature cry because I know how innocent and naive it was and that Jack was a big meanie that time but I understand what the two are going through :( and we don't even know if the Creature is the only creature :(
the spring spirit really stuck in my mind through the years and remains a highlight in a series full of highlights.
You got that right. Samurai Jack has so many highlights that many, including myself, still talk about them very highly to this day.
@@ThatMinnesotanGuy1986hell yeah brother! one of the top shows i ever saw! for some more cool stuff cheak out this show i found a lil bit ago as an adult, its not queit on the level of samurai jack, but its solid, megas xlr! the kind of show id a loved to see as a kid. ^^ but i seen enough awesome shizz, like jack, teen titans, and dragon ball z... still never hurts to be on top of new stuff that rocks! <3
I'm quite familiar with Megas XLR. Saw some episodes of it back in the day and would love to watch the entire series, unfortunately, ways to view it are limited and there is no physical media release, but I do know that the entire series is available for purchase via the iTunes store. Teen Titans is a classic superhero show and one of DC's best. The reboot Teen Titans Go was a complete waste of resources and is generally accepted as a crappy revival. Still though, the original Teen Titans is worthy of a retrospective from me.
@@ThatMinnesotanGuy1986 dude ill link you the youtube channel i watched xlr from, may still be up ^^ kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y45ht5mPXbC5qbQ.html found this, if its the same playlist i got last time it will have almost all episodes but you do get a little anoying editing here and there, id do better but, no credit, so i dont buy things or watch payed online stuff. much love to ya m8 and rock on
@@ThatMinnesotanGuy1986 oh yeah, you may also like young justice, its much slower paced than titans or xlr and it focuses more on the relationships than the hero struggle, but its well done.
Possibly my second favourite episode of the classic seasons, the first being Jack and the Travelling Creatures. Loving your reviews! Just wish you'd done them with proper recording equipment...
Truth be told, I'm on a tight budget and what I have to work with is good enough for me. Maybe one day I'll upgrade my equipment, but I have been looking into a small microphone to attach to my new camera for future reviews.
This episode is classic of the Kung Fu Chicken. Actually, Jet Li's Wong Fei Hung Kung Fu film series also suggested the animal kung fu from Chicken which could cope with the centipedes, ever.
Am a.big fan of jack long time no see its cool
Very good review, very funny episode, but your editing needs work. Those pauses after you finish speaking get in the way of the experience, especially if it's something like "ready, Fight!"
So I'll explain my decision with my editing. Quick cuts and choppy editing bother me, so I implemented a strategy where after 1-2 seconds after I finish speaking, it cuts to the next part of the review. You might see this go away with future reviews, but when I implemented this, I was trying to figure out how I can make myself either similar or different to other reviewers. The 1-2 second strategy was something I kind of picked up on from a few reviews that Sean Moore of Cinematic Excrement did, where he would cut to the next part 1-2 seconds after he finished speaking.
انت بضاااااان. سيب الفيديو كامل يعم 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
What was that music at 7:34?
It's a cover of the Samurai Jack theme by Chris Devoe. It was used in one of the Toonami promos for Season 5
Hey Sam. I hope you do Samurai Jack Season 5 Review as seen in Jack and the Traveling Creatures! Good Luck!
Hey there. Figured someone would bring up Season 5 again. I'll break my silence and provide an update. So here's the thing, I know fully well that I have made some promises regarding deadlines for Season 5, but the truth is that I haven't quite found the time to sit down and edit it together. Here's the deal; this year has been really rough for me and my personal life has created a lot of hurdles that prevented me from working on the review. If by some miracle things improve, and it appears that they are, I'll finally get the time to finish the review of Season 5. So to anyone who asks when Season 5 will be released, here's my response. Season 5 will be released when it's done. I did film the entire review in the later half of 2021 and was hoping to get it out either the end of that year or sometime this year, but like I said, my personal life created too many hurdles. At this point realistically, Season 5 could be released in 2023, but like I said, it will be released when it's done. I also had some time to think about its release and how I want to approach it and here is the plan. Season 5 will be exclusive to Vimeo for a short period of time, and then it will be released as a miniseries on KZread. It's a big review as I am reviewing all ten episodes in one shot, so you can expect this review to be very lengthy, it could even have a runtime that puts The Snyder Cut of Justice League and The Extended Editions of Lord of the Rings to shame. Following that, I am planning my next retrospective and I don't want to give too much away, but I will be focusing on reviewing films and I have selected films of a particular filmmaker that I want to talk about. I also recently created a media lab for myself where I plan to record video game walkthroughs and post them to KZread. Haven't created a concrete schedule yet, but that could change soon. I apologize to everyone watching that progress has been very slow on Season 5, but I really do want to get things going so that you can see more frequent uploads. Here's hoping that this becomes a reality, provided that it can. Stay tuned though, as Tony and I will figure out when we'll post a vlog about Black Adam. That is all for now.
This was sauce.
God, this episode freaked me out as a kid! Seriously, what were they thinking? It's good, but way too much for kids to handle. Arguably too far. But as for the demon, I think it's a vengeful animal spirit that was angry for being killed in the wilderness. And it targets this family maybe because the father hunted and killed it. Now it wants to hunt down and do the same to them
Nice review!!
What exatly is that young woman representing the spring? A some type of enchantress? Forest nymph - fairy? And why she had an evil smile in the end?
Dryad, maybe.
I think her purpose was to try and tempt Jack to stray away from his destiny. Her smile at the end was her being pleased that he managed to resist her
I love this episode
Samurai FOOOOLLL You thought you were dropping your seed into a beautiful maiden but IT WAS I AKU.
I don't think Jack was planning on doing that, but I'm sure some fan fiction writers will take that and run with it
Pennywise: "Kiss me fat boy!"
I think that the big animal is actually supposed to be a sivatherium or Something like that
9:31 this is literally life-saving advice.
4:07-4:19: Nice "Boondocks" reference 😆.
The creature is my comfort character
My comfort character would have to be Fang from Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal
@@ThatMinnesotanGuy1986 I mean she did remind SJ fans of the creature
This feels like very old KZread
Truth is, someone has to keep this style of reviewing alive, and that would be me
I love this episode so much this is one of the best episodes in the entire show
