RM stands for “Rich Morons” my friends and I joke about it all the time. We all have enough to afford one but obviously are too smart not to fall for the stupid hype. Every time we see one on someone we literally feel bad for that gullible moron 😂it’s hilarious fun

ur watch looks amazing. The good days if swiss high end watch making are numbered. There will be less and less people who will be dumb enough to spend exhorbent prices on a swiss watch when 80% goes to celebrities and marketing costs

Always know it’s a good day when I see Steve uploading! MB&F always has amazing pieces. These aren’t personally my cup of tea but they’re super cool and I can appreciate them.

HM10 is insane - love it; it’s a culmination of so much of what MB&F has created, but still expressed in its own way.

My thoughts as a former owner of 4-RMs over the years and a wearer of Tsar Bomba, another leading “homage” offering: it’s like a neck tattoo, as long as you’re already sleeved it’s acceptable. However, if you don’t have any ink and jump straight into a neck tattoo, you’re a poser trying to look tough. The Tsar Bomba TB8212CF series are available in carbon fiber & ceramic in colors, they’re 5ATM water resistant, housing a 24-jewel automatic movement and lumped- just like Richard Mille. They basically look good enough to get you mugged. Having sold off my RM’s and only having Patek & Rolex steel sports in my current collection, I figure f@ck it and I own three ☝🏻😂

looooooooooool i m french and i know the people of blackout concept (There are 2 associates, one of whom is French.) i seen the watches in live in paris the richard mille , like many other brands are pure scams ==> the cost of manufacturing is 3 000 for a sale of 105 000 and the blackout have just demonstrated this Of course you'll have snobs who will tell you otherwise

Any Japanese pen collector here will immediately recognize the Raden and Urushi decorative techniques used in this Voutilainen watch dial as we see it all the time from pen manufacturers at Namiki, Nakaya, Sailor, Pelikan, etc. I unfortunately can't afford the $300k and up for this watch, but I luckily can afford the $2k entry point required to buy a Namiki pen that uses these same decorative techniques. In the pen world many collectors deem Japanese decorative pens as the holy grail of collecting. It'd be interesting if the watch world embraces these Japanese artisans more and if we see a similar result.

Wow Steve! You always deliver with the amazing timepieces. Really interesting history with Cartier and Patek involved in creating a similar mechanism. As you said “I’ll never own one but, I can admire it from afar”. Great video ✊

He said Cottier (not Cartier) as in Louis Cottier, who also designed the world timers for Patek if I’m not mistaken. But agree, great video
