You would be surprised at how many fish will eat a jig head minnow off of the bottom when you drop it while they are following.

Any ball head jig will shake a bait like crazy, all of our walleye secrets are coming out one by one lol shaking the reel on a medium heavy action rod is also alot more effective than a soft rod. I dont even use spinning stuff for this.
He is talking about make the bait roll and every jighead is absolutely not the same - head shape and line tie position being 2 important variables

I used to like seaguar untill I ran like 20 test between p line and seaguar. I think my calculation was P-Line is 8x better. You can’t see it as well, and I also did an abrasion test, p line gave me a workout with that one.
Better how, stronger? If so remember there's no standard for line break -- so 10-lb test might be accurate for some, not for others. All good either way...

The fish a vote about all this. Just like SI, the fish will adapt to FFS. The other day, I saw a kayak with a trolling motor and two 10-inch screens!
You almost have to have a motor on your yak if you're torunament fishing man you could peddle but on these big lakes a motor gives you much more versatility in terms of moving spots when it's necessary. In terms of the ffs, I do not personally use it but when I'm in a summer tourney on the great lakes most of these smallies move super deep snd I definitely feel like I'm beating myself without having electronics on those bodies of water.
No doubt -- bass are already adapting/reacting to it. Just ask guides on high-traffic lakes. We release them so they learn!

Curiosity or something about it -- maybe some micro movement -- triggers its feeding or aggressive instincts. Seems like most bass don't bite because they are feeding, they just do it.
