Sorry but the content of this video is not 100% correct. The M-value is not within the compartment as you show, the M-value is the maximum allowed SUPERSATURATION (get in the game once a compartment is full). During the dive we absorb nitrogen in different speed, depending on the fact that a compartment is slow or fast (up to a point where some fast compartment, may be full, all the 6 half-times). At the moment of the ascent the parcial pressure outside of the diver’s body drop, and then is when the M-value start to get in to the game. Having more pressure in the surroundings, our body is supersaturated. But “thanks” to the m-value, within certain limits, this supersaturation is acceptable and no bubbles form. ✌️

1:32 the pressure gradient of nitrogen is not the problem, otherwise you would get bent by switching to pure oxygen at the bottom. The problem is supersaturation, which is not the same thing as gradient.

@9:50 the example is wrong. Calulating fresh water Volume is 26.5L divided by 3.72 bar (28M Fresh Water) = 7.1236L. The example given rounds the volume up to 27L. 27L divided by 3.72 bar =7.2580L. 27L is the volume of the ballon when calulating in salt water from the previous example. So which would be correct?

This conversion of weight seems completely bogus, but rather a matter of DENSITY (mass/volume), which is very different than “weight.” If it was just a matter of weight, then buoyancy would just be relative to weight and likely age, which it obviously is not.

Brilliant video. Thanks so much. I have a question tho, there seems to be a contradiction around 12:37. It first says that the third reason is that more Nitrogen than Oxigen can be disolved into the blood without saturation, and then it continues saying that twice as much OXIGEN can disolve without causing any problems. Is this contradictory or am I interpreting it incorrectly?

Where is the nitrogen coming from under water? Isn't it pure oxygen in the tubes they carry?

Great tutorial but I believe there are some typos in your Carbon Monoxide slides. 0.5% Carbon Monoxide at 1 Bar equals to a partial pressure of 0.005 Bar not 0.05 Bar.This means at 30 meters the partial pressure of Carbon Monoxide is 0.02 Bar (or 2%). You have it listed at 0.2 Bar. Other than that the slide show is well done =)

WHY AND HOW THE CLEAR, TOP DOWN, ULTIMATE, AND BALANCED MATHEMATICAL PROOF OF THE FACT THAT ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY IS GIVEN BY THE FACT THAT E=MC2 IS F=MA: Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/as what is BALANCED electromagnetic/gravitational force/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Consider the man who IS standing on what is THE EARTH/ground. Touch AND feeling BLEND, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma !!! SO, objects fall at the SAME RATE (neglecting air resistance, of course); AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma. Moreover, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. The Earth constitutes the FULL DISTANCE in/of SPACE in BALANCED and UNIVERSAL relation to what is the MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY !!!! (The sky is BLUE, AND THE EARTH is ALSO BLUE. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky !!!) Accordingly, time DILATION ultimately proves ON BALANCE that E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity !!! INDEED, TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. E=MC2 IS F=ma. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is fully invisible AND black. Think. It ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense. BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. Great !!! SO, a given PLANET (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH) sweeps out EQUAL AREAS in equal times consistent WITH/AS E=MC2, F=ma, AND what is PERPETUAL MOTION; AS E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. A PHOTON may be placed at the center of WHAT IS THE SUN (as A POINT, of course), AS the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the speed of light (c); AS E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. TIME dilation ULTIMATELY proves ON BALANCE that E=MC2 IS F=ma, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Great !!!! Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites, AS E=MC2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity !!!! It all CLEARLY makes perfect sense. MAGNIFICENT !!!! Yes, Moon and Sun cause the tides, but not in the simple way you suggest in this video. Haven't you noticed that there is no correlation between the moon being overhead and the high tide, for most positions on Earth? Maybe you'd better stick to teaching rules-of-thumb for diving (the last sentence of the video IS correct). The tides are too complicated to be explained like this, resulting in a video with many incorrect statements.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die". BUT, mercy said "I dont want to give them what they deserve. I don't want them to be cut off from Me. I love them despite all they have done/will do against Me. I want to give My children another chance. I want them to come home and live in My love again". And love said "Jesus, God's Son, came down as a Man, our representative, suffering every temptation, pain and struggle we have ever faced, yet without sin. He took all our sins (past/present/ even future) to the cross and then crucified EVERY ONE on our behalf. Justice was paid on the cross so that we can be free from Hell's punishment, experience Gods mercy of forgiveness of sin and live in His love. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (turn away from our sin and pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to obey His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, or struggling or doubtful, simply be honest and tell Him that. He is not intimidated by ANY sin or struggle you are facing. ANY. He hears and will answer. If we pray for Him to come in, regardless of the condition, then He will. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. If you have any questions let me know

Not so clear....the consumptio in bar per minute referred to what tank capacity ? Better to understand if in liter per minute at one bar (surface) then knowing tank capacity and pressure of the tank (so volume of air at disposal) you can calculate the autonomy based on consumption. Example Tank 12 liters at 200bar ...so have 2400 liter at disposal...at surface supposed 1 bar x minute so 12 liters x minute consumption ...at 30 meters we have 4 bar of pressure , a 48 liter x minute consumption and an autonomy at 30 metres (2400/48) of 50 minutes .
