I think your list is really really sound from an analytical standpoint! Like other ppl have mentioned, I am concerned about small sample size and volatility and how cold and hot stretches can essentially last an entire season, but I agree that consistency is what matters the most.
Yeah honestly that is a good point, since the season isn't that long a bad stretch can really affect your season.

Rankings that I think are bad: -Mallards at 1 (too high) -Preds at 2 (too high) -Eagles at 4 (too low) -Magic at 6 (too low but only a little bit I can see why you might think they have a bad World Series follow up though)
It’s mainly based off the criteria tho. Like my power rankings would look different.

Magic as one of the 3 worst teams? Based on what? They didn't lose anybody... and the Predators actually have one of the weakest teams outside of Kracht. Fleer will be a bust.
It’s based on the roster. The preds lineup is 10x better than the magic, Russ and Warda are all star level hitters and the magic outside of miller don’t have anybody close to either of them. Your fleer projection is based off one spring training game, when he plays tons of wiffs and has been very successful. Someone with that type of movement and arsenal will not bust. Maybe he’ll have a tough year one but we’ll see.

We are very similar in our AL predictions. I also have the Magic going 6-9. Walgate is still great, but he's no longer a surprise on the mound, and I have a feeling other hitters will start to figure him out. I've got the Diamondbacks winning it all though

Feel like you’re a bit too high on JP’s pitching. His WHIP was nearly 3 in the regular season last year, and his K:BB ratio was exactly 1:1. He was better in the playoffs but idk if that’s sustainable. If he is the Cats’ #1, I think he’ll be one of the weaker aces in the league
I think that’s a good point. The cats definitely need to find that ace, but I think Baalman could be that guy along with Pearson in the playoffs. Idk if Pearson can do it by himself on the mound and win a WS.

as a cobras fan, im not happy with the recent trades. i get behen wanted off but seriously, we could've had a mutch better outcome than those trades came out to be. We're not making the playoffs, and if we do, we're going to be first round exits. good video though.

Jimmy and Landon on the same hitting level?
Landon’s is a mostly a projection, but he did do very well last year (better than Jimmy in a similar number of games including playoffs). Jimmy at the plate has been getting worse, and according to last year I could’ve even given him a score of 5 or 6. I do think he’ll put up numbers similar to 2022 tho.
