So far I've tried this twice: the first time i undercooked them and they remained semi liquid like taffy. chewy, good, but they flattened out in the fridge. this second time I followed it more closely to the video but it never cooked to the point where it lifted from the pan, and once it cooled it became hard and crumbly.
Sorry to say that this didn't work out for me. After 40 minutes of stirring, mine still hadn't got to the stage where it wasn't fully sticking to the pan; it was close, but not there yet. I simply did not have the time to keep stirring it, so I put it into the mold and let it cool. It turned into a solid rock and I had to throw it out. It's a shame because the end product in this video looks delicious. I will try this again sometime and make sure to give myself all the time needed.
This dessert needs some good stirring and the exact amount of ingredients, the key is to cook over low heat and stir continuously , best of luck you will get the same result as you see in the video
