  You are adorable. For me I won’t wear jeans clothes unless I’m at my grandchildren’s soccer game or in the country. Over 60 I t\think the blazer is a better look. The tie sweater. Is also a no. I am busty and it makes me look bigger. Too much fabric in the front.

  So even to church no panty hose with Winter dresses? What are we wearing in our shoes then? Though I AM 61, so I feel confident in my panty hose LOL but am curious about BARE FEET in nice heels? Suggestions.....

  I got a super cute tennis dress (no waist cinching) and I'm really excited to see if the heat is more tolerable with a more relaxed outfit when I visit Charleston soon. I feel like you missed some opportunity to talk about steamy camel toe somehow? LOLOL

  It’s a privilege to grow old!! And there are people look good for there age have age naturally well ..but everyone looks there age no matter what they do to avoid it eat well be happy exercise and accept your age and wear what make you look well.. but I believe everyone looks the age no matter what they do to try to stop it I don’t believe in putting anyone down for there dress styling or modest woman will wear pantyhose and yes like princess Kate that doesn’t make her outdated it makes her an very modest elegant lady.. classy elegant age appropriate to suit one’s figure is the way to go .. that s what I call ageless beauty..

  I envy folks who can use only a deodorant as so many good-smelling ones have recently become available. Deodorants do not contain anything to help with sweating so they provide no protection in even the mildest of conditions. I can't stand my underarms feeling sticky and having wet stains on my clothes (... especially would not bode well at my office). So I depend on my antiperspirant/deodorant - which does a pretty good job. Hopefully, companies will come out with some competitive smelling ones soon.

  You are so right about polyester in the summer. I'm at a beach town all summer long and the other day I kept smelling this odor that I couldn't place. It couldn't be me I thought, I just showered. I finally figured out it was the knit pants I had on! They were freshly washed when I put them on that morning but by the afternoon after a long hike they were done. No more polyester for me!

  If smell is an issue, you can use a benzoyl peroxide face wash (acne section) to kill the bacteria. Put on first thing shower and let work while washing hair. Stridex pads or salicylic acid toner under breast kills bacteria down in pores so clogged pores. Modal fabric is wonderful and super silky. I have modal bike style (boxer brief) shorts from POSESHE that I found on Walmart sight. They have 5% spandex so they retain shape. Modal shirt wrinkle less and breathe. I wash then hang dry or low cool dryer like silk.

  I wear whatever I feel comfortable with.. I am a little over 60, I dance, exercise, eat healthy food, 5’3”, 96 pounds, look young, i really feel good about myself!!!!!

  I am on my way out the door to shop for a short sleeve all black top I need for a formal event. It's June 2024 here in New England and the event hall I'm going to is AC but...I need something cool to wear. I don't care how much I might sweat I will NOT under any circumstances wear a sleeveless anything without some style sweater over it. At my age I will not force people to see my 'bat wings' jiggling in the wind. I did buy a couple of linen blend pants. I segued out from cargo pants, tights and hiking pants that are all too hot now. I do wear them in summer when hiking. BUT....these new pants are linen BLEND, not 100% linen that turns into a wrinkled misshaped, floppy, frumpy MESS after one washing. I've bought so many from recommendation only to toss them aside after a few months. I hope this blend will last all summer.

  I use baby powder to prevent chafing - after I've dried from my shower I just rub some in and it makes my legs feel silky and prevents rubbing. I use it on my body too and that helps absorb small amounts of moisture in the summer and keeps me feeling dry. May not work for everyone but it does for me, I must admit I perspire quite lightly..

  Pink looks very good on you. I also love the cobalt blue shorts with the white and blue striped top.. I have relocated to eastern NC from the Midwest and our climate. Here is also very steamy and sticky in the summer. I have recently added a couple of linen items to my summer wardrobe and they do work very well in making me feel better about myself in the heat.

  My underarm fat and back fact that bulges under my t shirts are more disturbing to me than my flabby arms even though I have lost 10kgs since January. I am now 61kgs which is the slimmest I've been since 2008, when I was 58kgs. I don't know what that is in pounds. I live in South Africa and we weigh in kilograms. What it is to get older!

  I’ve had a problem with my thighs rubbing and used gel and hated it…what I recently discovered is The Cooling from Thigh Society…I wore these on excursions during our cruise in the Bahamas and I absolutely loved them…they were cool like they advertised…only women that have heavy thighs gets what I’m talking about…it’s worth a try

  Vivaia also makes washable ballet flats (like the 1st ones). They’re at Nordstrom for $97 (vs Amazon’s $129). I ordered my regular size. They’re comfortable, but If you need arch/heel support, then Vionic is an even better option. 😉

  I don't care how old you are but wearing tennis shoes with a dress is horrible! Why not wear sandals especially if it's hot? And the older you are, the more ridiculous and foolish you look! As the saying goes, "mutton dressed as lamb."
