Glad there were subtitles...the music is WAY TOO LOUD (and the stock footage takes away from the performance). Let's just see Matthew talk!

If think Matthew McConaughey is qualified to run for public office for the following reasons: He is handsome-He is a great actor- He has a beautiful-family-He has famous friends--He has is charismatic. You are wrong. That is not a reason to vote for someone. We must stop voting for people like they were running for Homecoming king or queen The people WE elect to office are SUPPOSED to be running our country on our behalf. But if you have taken time to Listen to the man, you know he has an honest concern about our nation and indeed has solutions and a true interest on how to make our country a better place to live. Please vote for the man. Heed his advise.

Could Really do without the Symphony background Music that seems to be intensifying in volume as McConaughey speaks. -Embellishments of any kind are a sign of insecurity.

Great words. I wish I had heard them 60 years ago. If like me, you're approaching your final years, forgive yourself if you haven't yet found yourself. In a way you have. No one stays the same. Set aside all of the noise of your thoughts. You may not have found your best self, but you have worked with what you had, what you still have now. There is no one who has not known compromise, not known failure. There is so little real peace in this life. Let yourself be at peace, first with yourself.

Life ain't fair, but if all aspects of our lives are controlled by politicians who don't care about us, then how the hell are we supposed to survive?

That's not totally true. I have been scammed all the time by corporations and companies, and politicians think that it's not against the rules. If that's the game they clearly scam people and they want whole world to scam each other.

This current trend of worshipping victimhood is a trap. It will suck out your soul and leave you miserable to the core. It's a very short walk between life and death - none of us chose to be here. Yet, here we are. In a world full of unfairness. Find the light. Surround yourself with good, healthy people. Look at obstacles as something to overcome and not something stopping you. I'm afraid we are encouraging youth today to surrender to obstacles and demand their removal. Fight for the light.

Jesus loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. If you're seeking hope and peace, open your heart to Him. His grace and love can transform your life. If you want to accept Jesus into your heart, you can pray this simple prayer: 'Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your name, Amen.' God bless you!

Why are there so few people of color in this video? Why are the majority of them not represented as powerful or happy...having achieved success? Homeless man (:43), a basketball player (1:17) - the only view of how a black man can be successful? The two multi-cultural women eating the (implied) unhealthy pizza (2:43), The seemingly frustrated Latino man throwing paper in the air (4:55), The Black man depicted as experiencing guilt and regret (5:04). You are NOT including or even considering people of color accurately in this narrative...You cannot BE what you do not SEE! This video is offensive!

The speech is amazing and the setup with the music and video clips makes it very motivating and inspirational. However, half way in, I realized that more or less all clips contain men being strong (and yes Mathew McConaughey is a man and he is giving the speech, so it makes sence that it's from a man's perspective), but as a woman, I was just missing seeing strong women too. Not trying to be an annoying feminist, I just think this could have been even better if it provided more nuanced and including clips - also clips of people who are disabled. I know that we are living in a world that in some ways have become too over-sensitive but for a message like this, I think it lacks incluvsivness. Not trying to disrespect the speech, it's great. The advertisement of the speech could have been better. Only meant as constructive critisism.

Speaking of jeopardizing ones soul, Trump voters sold their soul to the devil back in 2016, when the Republican party ceased to exist, as the former Republican party became the party of Trump.

This video is everything that Trump has been saying all along, but leftist people don't hear him because they have TDS (Trump derangement syndrome). These are conservative principals, not McConaughhey's. McConaughhey is a hack and a phony.
