Dear Almaas, Do you think Dzogchen is just a fantasy? I have friends practicing Theravada, Hinduism, Sufism and magic, they have achevied some forms of realization and siddhis compared to many I know who practice Dzogchen for decades and some of them have done 3-6 years retreat but no serious result, when I ask them why they tell me Dzogchen is about liberation in Bardo (after death) !! This sounds like religious faith Islam/Christianity which promises results after death.

    1) You said, "Beyond awareness." What could be beyond naked awareness? 🤔 2) I agree with you about K. Maybe Krishnamurti needed more time to let his awakening finish. He had the force of the public eye on him. He still meditated for goodness sake. I love K and have benefitted from his writings immensely, but I prefer Nisargadatta's "I Am That", Alistair Shearer's Adi Shankara book "In the Light of the Self", The Gita, and Ramana Maharshi. 3) I love hearing you talk of your spiritual experiences, thank you. 4) Reading Krishnamurti convinced me to realize I needed to sit in silence and just be, and I did for thousands of hours. This led me to purification, kundalini, turiya for a day and naked awareness for who knows how long. Just saying that if he helped little old me, he could have helped millions. Nisargadatta talked of him. K also gave Joseph Campbell the book on the east that allowed him to write the book on myth that allowed George Lucas to write Star Wars which got the concept of The Force (God?) out there which I love for atheists etc.

Very nice lecture. These series are very interesting. Thank you for your generosity dear @Almaas. I would like to ask you if you could make a lecture about Ibn Arabi. I know you know quite a lot about him. It would be interesting to hear specifically about the "perfect human being" as a microcosm. I think it might have some link with dzgochen as the "self perfected state".

Something I don't understand - basic problem of human civilization is "inner judge", which is a real reason for all psychological problems, which manifested in wars, broken or toxic relationships...etc, and so few people realized, that ingenuous Byron Brown book - is a true key to solving major human problems. I really was so lucky to read this Byron Brown book, which raised myself to highest possible height of truth understanding.

I think there is confusion between Dogen and awakening. Many take zen from the point of view of simplicity, in fact too simplistic. One thing to remember is Dogen was well versed in the Dharma before he traveled to China. He knew the Buddha's teachings very well. So when you hear, just sit. That's it, just sit. Well you can just sit for a trillion life times and you still won't awaken. You need to also have a broad knowledge of the Dharma or just sitting won't do anything..

I came across Dogen through Heidegger. For me it's really along journey with plenty of joy and wisdom to understand what Dogen saying, by practicing spirituality. So for me to experience Dogen's idea of Time being is a philosophical and spiritual journey. Thank you so much for the wonderful explanation.

We might be careful how we criticize others' approaches to spirituality. Each body has a specific constitutional make up and while there are many that do change, most of us can only try our best and hope to not create too much chaos. From my side, sampling from many sources on the subject of spirituality has given me a more three dimensional view of what it even means, what love might be, and reasons why they even exist. This body/mind has more than a few blank or scarred areas, and I have to hear from many voices and styles how to even begin to hear and then interpret what is being transmitted. Thank God more people than not have allowed me the art of this process, with grace. It not only helped me to feel part-of, but also is giving me, over time, the autonomy and confidence to come full circle and choose my own more simplified path. Plus, if I didn't partake of the buffet, I'd never have found either of you. 🤗

When Buddhism talks about "cause and effect" in the context of emptiness they are talking about conventional experience, not ultimate reality. (@ 9:24) Of course there is nothing like cause and effect going on ultimately.. It's empty and as Nagarjuna says even emptiness is empty. I am having second thoughts about A H A now after listening to this video. He says people wake up for no reason, like Ramana Maharshi. That is assuming a lot, it assumes you believe there are no reasons because none are OBVIOUS. We don't know anything.

Does realization happen cause of practice? I like the way Dogen talks about it... practice / realization is one thing. But I think, or it seems to me, that no it doesn't "happen", realization already is. I only began practice cause I had a recognition that Awareness "already is". Recognition can happen for the character but??? that's another conversation.

The One and the Many are co-emergent and perfectly Unified without any contradiction between Unitary consciousness and the individuation and realization of Souls, each of which has a unique personal essence. Advaita Vedanta is solipsism and is lopsided emphasis on the One to the exclusion and de-valuing of the many. At least some forms of Vedanta take this lopsided view. Other schools recognize the Soul and its eternal nature.

After 50 plus years of dzochen, before finding the works of Almaas, I had come to the view of totality on my own. He is amazing and brings a great richness to the flowering, the evolution, of the human as a an expression of the infinite. His view of totality embraces all views and paths as real ways ultimate reality can be experienced and expresses itself. Duality is a real way the ultimate expresses itself; enlightenment requires an individual to exprience it. If ultimate reality could not individuate itself, it could not know itself. If there were not the changing, it could not express, create, experience anything. Or forget and lose itself in creations and reduscover its true nature. The dzochen realization, or enlightenment by any name or path, is a beginning, not an end. For example, many non-dual teachers have not yet opened the heart. There are infinite dimensions in enlightenment. There is no end point; there is endless discovery. Even ultimate reality can be experienced in infinite ways: as fullness, as void, as love (a state, not an emotion), as clarity, as timelessness, an infinite point or spaciousness. Also, enlightenment deepens, reveals more facets, becomes more abiding. It does not relieve us of all the human psychological challenges we have. It is not a get-out-of-jail-free card. It's not a quick fix-all. It doesn't solve all one's problems or mean you will be happy all the time or escape pain. It is a beginning, however great and abiding the enlightenment is. Now the real work begins. A great contribution Almaas makes is to bring many tools developed in the west, such as depth psychology, to help with the human side of things, the obstacles on our side that arise both before and after realization.

This is why remote viewing works, too. They (Buchanan, Macmonigal, Smith, etc.) explain it as possible through the "subconscious," and say it's scientific, but without saying where this sub is or where it is located or what it is.

The problem Type nine has is that it will have conflict with others if the nine yield to being its authentic Self. A nine experiencing its phycology at the health levels where presence is active and wants to express themselves via the unity of all three instincts and via the individual expressions of all three instincts when relating to others. Via the willingness to impress the view point from one of and all three, sensing to the instinctual level and feeling to the instinctual level and thinking to the instinctual level which means transforming self image in the act of expression expressing the instinctual drive as an obvious. The Nine also wishes to express all six instinctual variants in the same way to demonstrate the obvious. At this level of micary or natural expression, the Nine can take the world view point of each of the eighteen Egoic Mind Sets and appear as the argument of any of the 108 egoic mind sets the wishes to. The reality is people do not like being mirrored this amount of flux within the human expression. I am a Type nine and I know when I was in primary school my class mates directly and indirectly requested me not express myself with that level of depth. They were amazed and ok with it, but not ok with being mirrored that level of minds operation as a constant or regular expression. I hear all kinds of teachers who are making good coin from teaching the enneagram and speaking all about the Presence one can experience. The problem is we don't have one teacher who can simple switch on and mirror the Authentic Self State to their students so as they the student, are instantaneously switch on as well. Why is it against the law to be switched on and to switch on other adult people who are attending a class on the enneagram and spiritual power? That is why there are two comments after four months and 879 views. The enneagram is not being teached properly. If a teacher of the enneagram can not walk into there own cass switched on and simply switch on the room and teach about the structure then they are not a real teachers of the enneagram in my opinion. Simply give forewarning that the class will be run by a teacher who will be beaming authentic presence from there own authentic being. Lets get real about the enneagram. The problem is people are scared to be real and deal within the real energy that the enneagram is. Want to impress KZreadrs then have two authentically switched on enneagram teachers having a conversation about the enneagram from the perspective of being switched on. We who have experienced being switched on will appreciate the wisdom being mirrored via the KZread-video. Don't be gutless do the real work and let it be seen in public on KZread. I am willing to offer myself as co presenter. I will be open to being switched on via the mirrored energy and we can talk about the enneagram live on KZread but you will have to pay my travel and accommodation expenses. Let's make KZread history. To save complication we can switch on before and then do the interview. If I have the inner freedom to do so I will demonstrate the flux of all three instincts, six instinctual variant's and eighteen egoic mind sets I spoke of.

congratulation , by your long studies you make simple and clear the essence and nature of this practice! So it shows a great perfection of comprehension and pointer keys essentials. Bravo... At a certain level tell that the mental is the great ennemy as great destructive, so you go before mental with confidence as mental just as a limited friend as just a road to reach and after it s up to you to integrate and recieve fortunately. in some instants... persistence , confidendence and profond wisdom and humility.

---------- (9) -------- @--@ ------ @--@--@ -- (6)--@--@--(3) From each three Points: Three, Six or Nine. Travel the nine closest-spaces and a triangle is formed. Three triangles representing the three Primary Instinctual Forces. The Authentic self is not represented by one alone over the remaining two but the Authentic Self is represented by the Larger Triangle its vitality draws from all three triangles all three representations of an authentic self. Your egoic self complete with free will. ---------- @ ------- @--@ ----- @--@--@ --- @--@--@--@ ---------- @ ------- @--@ ----- @--@--@ --- @--@--@--@ ---------- @ ------- @--@ ----- @--@--@ --- @--@--@--@ It requires four Intervals of fair input to arrive at a hole and true conclusion. The larger triangle houses three enneagrams and more.

The Diamond Approach will prove to be one of the greatest psycho spiritual paradigms ever created. It is fully integral. The "classic" teachings, world religions, etc. are deeply flawed and incomplete. The people who created these religions knew nothing about psychology. Buddhism even continues to cling to the false teaching of "Anatta", which is dangerous and which has resulted in many psychotics. This is why Almaas teachings are so important. The new movement in spirituality was ushered in by Sri Aurobindo and in part by Jung, who correctly taught about the personal evolving Soul.

What is PROJECT RAINBOW? What does that have to do with personal and collective trauma(s)? (And eras of historic and technological unfoldment - perhaps pathways into enlightenments via crises?) Where does the rainbow most specifically appear in this video? (Woman speaking about her uncovering details of her experienced trauma.) Why was the US President at the time of this video (2020) ridiculed about "his insane beliefs about an invisible plane"? (The F-35) What military and state secrets continue to make it difficult for the public to know the truth about "stealth technologies" and the space-&-time electromagnetic research projects that may have collectively (and personally) traumatic repercussions? What electromagnetic project allegedly took place on Long Island, subsequent to the initial RAINBOW research and application? What was the premise of the popular show STRANGER THINGS based upon? Did something change August of this year (2023) in the planetary memory fields of the significant scientific research-and-development events surrounding PROJECT RAINBOW?
