  Great tutorial, thank you. Only one thing, the laminating sheets can not possible be 5mm thick as that is about 1/4". Sorry!

  I believe it would be even better to put the 2 paper covers together bc it would be even thicker for them being the cover or maybe you can get a 5 mil Laminate Sheet and put it Thru the laminator twice to maybe make it even thicker/ harder. I wonder if that would work? That way maybe we don't have to go buy a pro laminator machine that takes the 10 mil laminator sheets.

  Thank you so much for this video. I thought for sure the punches would go through the planner layout but this looks so good! I've also seen just punching through the coil holes too but yours is cleaner. Love the dashboards, did you make those?

  Can you use the classic punch to punch through laminate? I read that it won’t even punch through card stock

  I've never seen anyone have success using it to punch laminate. It was made to punch paper inserts. I've read that the Arc Punch from Staples can handle laminate.

  this is a bit of rough way to do this, what you do is simply step on the punch. to put your entire weight on it. my weight is 72kg, (158lbs) so far using it fine for paper and laminated cover. other way is if you have scanncut or cricut. i have scanncut( cutting machine) and scale the punch size, and make the file, put it through the machine. it should work. but this i havent tried it yed. it worked on paper perfectly, though.

  I have issues all the time with my happy planner punch, you just have to give it extra "oomph" to get it to punch. Stepping on it as @meburbur stated works, but if you can afford it- I would totally recommend the Arc punch!

  Do these laminate sheets also adhere to the paper? I have some from Walmart but they broke the seal when I punched the edges for the disks. It's like it created a pocket only

  I'm so sorry for the delay, my family was hit hard with the current pandemic. The shop is switching to an all printable basis, and the AC Printables will be up in the shop on February 17th. I'll be posting a video with all the information on the shop reopening and the new links next week! <3

  If you mean the whole planner un-spiraled, yes and no. Yes if that's ALL you want to put in there. No if you plan on adding additional inserts.

  My conklin durograph used to be so dry bd wouldnt start without a dip in water. scratchy! i switched the nib to goulet 6 nib and writes like butter now

  There's a lot of very cheap paper that works well with fountain pens. It's know where to look, and what to look for, that's tough. Even Walmart has some excellent fountain pen paper. Unfortunately, it's from China, and isn't branded in any way. There isn't a single word on the covers or wrapping, not even a bar code. Wal;mart sticks a bar code on before it comes to the various stores. But you can usually tell just by feeling the paper. There are three or four notebooks, depending on how lucky uyou are. Pen Gear paper, too, works pretty well with fountain pens. Anyway, I've had no luck at all with Wingsung pens, which is what I think the first four you showed are. After a couple of months of use, sometimes sooner, they start leaking. The Jinhao nibs are whateve ryou ordered. They come in fine, medium, and now bold, though the bold are still hard to find. I have those two Jinhao pens, and both write extremely well. But with Jinhao, it doesn't matter. If made in the west, those pens would cost from fifty to a hundred dollars, so they're more than worth putting a new nib on. Some people even put gold nibs on them. But you can get an excellent steel nib from Goulet Pens for under twenty bucks. As for color variation, called "shading", not everyone likes it. I hate it, and I do my best to buy inks that don't shade. If I want a different color, I'll buy different ink. I want the ink I do buy to stay the same color it shows on the bottle. That's why I bought it. When I was young, no one wanted ink that shaded. It wasn't called shading then. Such ink was called junk that was poorly formulated and poorly mixed. I still feel that way about it. But the power of marketing can make the majority of people love anything because they think they're supposed to love it. I've seen the same kind of thing happen in several businesses and products. It happened in the knife world last. The Eco is a very good pen. Other than the Wingsung, all your pens are worth owning. And even the Wingsung may work out for you. The only TWISBI I now own is the GO, and then only because it works so perfectly as a neck pen. The ability to pull the pen from the cap, use it, and ut it back in the cap, all with one hand, makes it my most widely used pen. But I just sold every expensive pen I owned, just over one hundred and fifty. I kept all my cheaper pens, and I'm going to buy seven very expensive pens that I didn't own, and let it go at that.
