I'm sorry to here about your head injury. I was skiing in Massachusetts years ago and fell on a icy patch and sled into a tree stump which ruptured my kidney and I spent ten days in the hospital. I lost 2-3 pints of blood internally and in my Blatter ,. My blood count was monitored every other hour to see if my kidney was healing or if it had to be removed . Luckly it did heal back together since I had to stay in bed the whole time without moving. I still kept on skiing but was very cautious from then on in Colorado,Utah, california, and Nevada. Oh by the way I spent a year in Vietnam getting mortar fire ,snipper fire and getting stitched up from stupid things since I drove an 17 ton army wrecker all over the lower part of Vietnam. @@ChrisCallahan2018 you’re a grown man and you know what you’re capable of doing. A couple months ago when I started working again, but had no strength or stamina yet, I needed to be near the Flint Flyers Field inside GA Veterans Park in Cordele. After work was done I took out the Hawksky, Conscendo and whatever the name is of the ArrowsRC glider. I had no idea if the “chemo shakes” were completely gone, so I figured I’d see if I could get some attitude and if things went poorly, I could turn the 3 planes into gliders. Fine motor with the fingers didn’t feel normal the first few laps, but after that I got more comfortable making turns. By the 3rd flight, this time with the Conscendo and AS3X I was flying wide open 3 feet off the ground, doing loops and rolls. So, give a powered glider a try before you quit. I just got the Arctic Camo FMS a-10. Hope it flies as well as the other two. Was at Calliwassie Island yesterday doing some repairs. Always fun since it’s on final for the Marine air station in Beaufort, SC. Typically it’s F-18 aviators raising hell/having a ball, but yesterday they were flying F-22’s. Hi A beautiful scale copy of Draco .You mentioned experimenting with C of Gravity. My take is , it is.either right or wrong no half right or halfvwrong. Most planes with a main wing spar the C of G runs through this spa .Your angle of incidence between your main wing your stabalizer must also be correct .If this is out it can confuse the s hole issue leading you to make all sorts of incorrect loading decisions when you try and trim an aeroplane that feels dead with no sweet spot. Karl Goldberg and Chris Foss have the correct methods and procedures to always make sure your centre of gravity and angles of incedence all come together in harmony to produce the most amazing feeling of wanting to fly hands off. You sir fly very well such a pity you had a small mishap I am sure it looks fixable looks like a solid plane, the sun was shining directly into your face and milliseconds count I think it caused that glitch that before you knew you lost it. Your only mistake flying too low, us old timers had a saying when someone offered them a chance to fly their aircraft. " TAKE HER UP 9 MISTAKES HIGH PLEASE " then my airplane ha ha. I pray the repairs go.well , that beauty belongs in the air not on the deck xxx

@@ChrisCallahan2018 I would hope by now we could’ve shot it down with a laser from space and made the PRC think it was their fault. I’ve always been an “Eye for an Eye” kinda guy. Seems like a good time to try out that SR-72, or better.
Still a favorite. I went “Jet Crazy” the past two years, but the Flightline 1600mm Fighter series (P-38, Spitfire, Corsair, Tigercat) are about to make a comeback. P-38 is still the favorite in the group.
Hi Jeff. I agree with you about the P-38. And also one of the coolest looking planes in the air. It was -35 here last night.....brrrrr!
@@ChrisCallahan2018 Holy Crap! I was in shorts and a pullover in Atlanta yesterday. We flew flew Saturday. Best day in months. Mid 50’s by 11:00, no wind. You need to become a Snow Bird. (Summers in Montana, winter’s somewhere along the Georgia-South Carolina coast. (You’d like the area around Beaufort, SC. The Marine Naval Station. F-18’s, F-35’s and what blew me away last month, a handful of F-22’s) How’s the head; your balance and your overall health?
I don't have anything nice to say
Love that plane. Been a P-38 for decades. I just don't need another habit.
Back 2 safe mode 4 U LOL
I think I covered all the bases. I started out with the Eflite 64mm a-10, liked it so much I bought the Freewing 80mm. Damn it’s a big jet. Too big for our 40 year old, short bumpy runwa. I didn’t know the Marines or Navy had F-22’s. Gorgeous jet! Happy Thanksgiving Chris! Hope you’re feeling better. And for the 100th time, thanks for all the helpful videos and your insights.
Thanks Jeff and a Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Glad you're enjoying those A-10s. I'd say the Arctic Camo was my least favorite of them. Nothing beat the Freewing A-10!!
Spend 4min 29 secs of my life just to not see the crash 😁
A loop as a recovery from a landing not quite working out.....what could possibly go wrong. Talk about the dumbest thing to attempt and wipe out a £600 perfectly good plane. And as for the camera man.....
at take off I knew that you were heading for a crash, you turned 90 degrees to the runway because you havent learned to use your rudder, and the loop from 50 ft off of the deck...really?
this idaho?
Nope...Montana.
Nose is upside down there champ
Saw that after comment! Good eye!
I think it’s time for the T-45. I got the 90mm F-22 elevator issue figured out, now it’s just a big baby. The Futura v3 was the latest purchase, maybe the most fun, and fastest jet I’ve owned. FMS outdid themselves on the design. Might be better than the Eflite 90mm Viper. (Futura v3 is faster and more maneuverable) T-45 seems the logical choice and add your glowing reviews. Hope you’re feeling better. Let me know how things are.
Hi Jeff. Great choice! Still one of my all time favorite EDF's! Nothing good to report on my condition unfortunately but still have hope! Got our 1st snow of the year here yesterday. Let me know if you get that 45!
@@ChrisCallahan2018 dammit! I’m sorry you’re not back to your old self. I flew the P-38 about 6 times on Saturday, made me think how many times I watched your “P-38 series” and thought, “God, I’ll never fly as good as Chris!” The P-38 is just so rock solid once you get it trimmed out. Get better. I miss your videos. Good, informative stuff.
@@ChrisCallahan2018 I’ve got a couple months before winter reaches us, thinking about adding thrust vectoring to the F-22. Oh, the Naval Sub base north of Jacksonville called. They want a Lightning Prediction System soon. I’ll send pics.
Hey just to confirm you have no ailerons on your wing even on take off?
E-Flite Dracos are horribly disappointing tippy rocks... they totally missed the true spirit of STOL... (This one tip stalled on the back side of the loop)
Hi Chris what brakes do you use?
Hi Anthony. I did not have any breaks on the F-14.
I thought I heard you say the brakes work? The wheels looks different to stock?
Sorry it does not look like sun in your eyes I was sure anyway!.These things happen it looks fixable bwttw4 off than when Mike flipped his real Draco try ing to negotiate an intense gusty side wind take off .
Is there enough thrust to make 3d maneuvers?
No...
Touch & go followed immediately by a loop... 😥😥😥😥😥
It's great. Runtime and thrust are good. What brand of battery do you use?
I just use Admiral 5000s.
Hallo nice flying and great sounding edf. Stock 12 Blade?
Thank you!! It is my favorite EDF!
Now it looks like the real Draco plane 😆
Waiting for the crash so I won’t make the same mistake. Low level aerobatics, a big no no!
C'est du n'importe quoi !!! et puis cet avion n'est pas un avion de voltige. J'espère qu'il l'aura compris maintenant.
