why would you raise blacks and shadows in an image where you have extreme contrast? I wouldn't want to show the details in the backpack, I would want to show the silhouette

It’s a personal decision. Photo editing is subjective, and I would recommend you do what you like.

I don’t believe so, but there may be a way to load a full version of Lightroom classic onto Android.

Only one question. Why would you test this on only one image featuring a person with black hair on a black background? Hardly seems fair when a human would struggle to do the same task.

The point of this video was to make it difficult on Photoshop beta with a black on black. It’s only a test. Commercial photography you have to be fast and efficient. Clearly, it’s still not ready for the masses.
