Mainly 80's 12" mixes. As a few people have observed, a lot of my vinyl recordings are slightly fast. This was because I was using my trusty old Aiwa Z-D9300M HiFi stack to transfer them, which was old when I started ripping in 2007 (I bought the Aiwa new 1996-ish - sadly the amp died in 2015 :( ) and the turntable speed adjustment screw was difficult to adjust accurately. So apologies for the speed up in some cases. I claim no copyright on these recordings, my original intent was to give people a chance to hear classic mixes of songs you wouldn't normally hear nowadays (and i've used KZread to hear 12" mixes of songs i've never heard before), although to be fair in recent years a lot of albums have been reissued with extra tracks inc. 12" original mixes, which is great &long may that continue.

My shautteered deeams
0:56 it devalues music 🤓 - actually it made more money than their last album
The original 12 was best
There was one remix where at the very end the 'protect and survive' voice can be heard stuttering something like '..is it.. you don't want to hear... you spe-specifically wanted like..' like just coming out of the recording booth sounding very unprofessional-like. I found that very funny but cannot find it anywhere.
Great song and production by Andre Cymone!
I'm now 57 years old glad peace has been kept
I remember buying this version 12 inch . Me and my mates got all different mixes . When we put this one on it blew the others out of the water like a nuclear bomb frankie times were soo good . Trevor horn is the best producer ever in my opinion . This really does scare you into thinking what if ? Nuclear war especially as it was relevant back when it was released back in 84 with Reagan and Gorbachev and the star wars programme
Wow! What a remix! Miss you Terry. 💔

When I was a '70s kid, this was the man I wanted to grow up to be. Then the 1980s came along....🙄
This still is the one 👌
I was a beach baby , Redondo beach ….windy days , the smell of salt water , and this track playing
I always want the ending to last longer. The electric guitar sounds so cool!
But the cat had ten bags of hula hoops, the very next day, the cat had ten bags of hula hoops, we thought it only had one, but the cat had ten bags of hula hoops, it just wouldn't stay away!
❤❤❤❤ THIS!!!! Best!
i still want to send this to my ex!!!!!!
Best 80s band!!! Pop rock ruled the 80s. And the styles best decade we had. Awwwwww the memories
I just noticed how the pulsating guitar at the end kinda sounds like an alarm clock
As someone who is more familiar with the album version (or the re-recording by the great Chris Hughes), I prefer that one to this original one from Mike Howlett. Still, Mike did a very good job on the vocals and I don't mind this version but it kind of lacks the care that Chris gave while recording. I get that first impression. Mike's version sounds like a well polished demo but Chris gave it an added depth to the overall sound.
