if the book wasn't out yet then she and the screenwriters of the movies must had conversations about where the story was heading because a bunch of things that happened in the movie are on the Allegiant book

as ive read spoilers abt the ending of allegiant ,and as im listening to this lady,she gives me a lousy writer vibes like, "oh well since its alrdy ended, i wldnt mind my readers feel abt what way i'll end this book now" like she alrdy gave up after a few pages ,and seems like "oh well, important thing is ,im done, i wont care less bout they say" ik tris died and its clearly understandable but to gave the characters the ending which doesn't suit to the journey those characters had is what's disappointing, and a huge waste, like srsly? what happened to those lines she gave to tris and four, knowing both of em stick to their words as thats the characters she portray from the whole series, but she just casually ended these characters ,shallow and lazy ending , i honestly cant keep this kind author who just lazily cutted the ending by "i don't care what they think on my book i'll end it anyway"

I completely understand why she killed tris and I'm trying not going to give hate on this series. It is amazing and relatable. But the ending still made me very upset and I still fill kind of empty as we speak. I just kind of think she could have killed tris in a different way (not that I want tris dead but if that truly was the best route to go I wish she would have killed her in a more deserving way). I like the scenery of her mom coming back to get her, but I wish she would have been able to see Tobias at leas one more time. Also I wish tris died by something other then bullet wounds, because she has survived so many of those that I don't think that was the best way. But nevertheless it is still a powerful ending and one that I think the author can be proud of. Tris is still my hero and I will forever love her......... I don't know how to end this off and saying "be brave" wouldn't be good cause I'm not Veronica Roth......hm......oh how about "be your best self"..... it's something Tobias gets at in the first book when he is showing tris his tattoos...ya...I think I like it. Well bye and be your best self!

Veronica je trouve que t’as déconné pour ce livre. Tris méritait sa vie heureuse et paisible avec Tobias, ils étaient tout pour moi. Caleb aurait dû mourir comme c’était prévu, je trouve que sa mort poussée par son côté altruiste est très belle mais ça n’aurait pas dû se passer ainsi. Caleb vivra toujours avec de la culpabilité et aurait pu s’en débarrasser, je sais que Tris s’est sacrifié pour son frère par amour (d’une part) mais c’est juste trop. Je ne me suis jamais sentie aussi mal par rapport à un livre. Tris est le personnage de fiction que j’aimais le plus, et la voir mourir m’a brisé le cœur en 10 000 morceaux, qui s’est brisé encore plus quand j’ai lu les passages douloureux de Tobias après sa mort, le fait qu’il a jeté ses cendres sur la tyrolienne et le reste. J’ai l’impression que je n’irai jamais mieux et que mon cœur ne guérira jamais complètement de ça. Fou non ? Je pleure en me levant le matin en pensant à sa mort… je vais un peu loin non ? Mais c’est comme ça, je souffre comme Tobias a souffert et comme il souffrira toujours un peu. ❤️🩹

I think Veronica made a very brave decision about what she’s done and it was definitely interested character and it shows how she believes that selflessness and bravery are truly not that different but on the other hand it took me quite a lot of time to digest the fact that she had indeed died and I think my feelings are so much more with Tobias how he copes with the ending but overall I think it’s brilliant you know not everybody’s gonna have the hunger games of the Twilight ending
