White vinegar mixed with water for the I’m guessing kinda wood flooring. It works great! The carpet if you have a wet vac use that with the vinegar . If not use odor remover powder and let it sit all day. If that doesn’t help call someone.

Carpet!!! We live in a rental. There was always a “smell”. After 4 years of living here we finally decided to replace the carpet ourselves. The old carpet had huge stains on the other side. We assume urine stains. Smell is now gone.

I use natures miralcle 3 in 1 odor destroyer. Gets rid of any pet scent. Dogs are notorious for marking places their spots and have sensitive noses. This deordorizer will prevent even a dog from smelling its own urine. I've used it for my cats too.

Ur not crazy, same thing happened to me. Landlord swore no pets, especially cats, lived in the apartment. Problem is I'm allergic to cats... so I KNOW THERE WAS A CAT THERE 😂 I scrubbed the floor and the walls. Took a whole month of constant cleaning.

Honey, please just get the carpet professionally cleaned or ask your landlord if there’s a world where you can replace it. It’ll save so much hassle and money then trying every cleaning product out there.

This is a waste of time and damaging to the floors. Most likely a male cat - not fixed - lived there and sprayed. It's highly likely the urine is on the walls, or cabinets - could be anywhere. Spend your time on your hands and knees sniffing. If you know someone with a nice easy going cat, ask them if they could come over and let that cat roam the house, the cat may lead you to the stain(s). Soap and water will do NOTHING to remove the odor. Some household cleaners will actually permanently set the odor. You MUST use an enzyme based odor neutralizer. Anything else is a waste of time.

As others have said, you need an enzyme cleaner for one; And for two it's NOT in your wood. But for three: 'cat urine smell' is ammonia. You might want to check your product storage and ensure you don't have a product with ammonia in it, whose cap is not open or that is leaking slowly. ESPECIALLY if it's near bleach (You'll make a noxious gas)

You need a cleaner that has an enzyme in it specifically to tackle urine.. resolve urine destroyer works really well you can also get other enzyme cleaners. I also recommend letting it sit and seep into your floor if that's real wood you're going to want to put it on at night time I'll let it sit and then come down put water on it and get as much up as you can you're never going to get the smell out if it seeps in and you don't let it sit. You have to let it penetrate all the way down to get the smell out. I only know this because I live on a farm and the lady who had the house before us had cats and my husband's ex-girlfriend lived here and she never knew how to get the smell out and I got it out and it had sat for like 15 years in the floors and I got the smell out it took me about a month of letting it sit overnight and sleep until the floor but I got it out

A good trick to get rid of the cat pee smell is the yellow listerine, sounds crazy but when my cat first became diabetic he’d pee on all our clothes/carpet and washing everything in that stuff killed the scent

That dish soap wont neutralize urine. Honestly..replace the rugs snd use kilz underneath and replace the laminate gloors snd again put kilz down first...using dish soap on laminate or wood will eventually hurt it just fyi
