In civilian applications: do you really want more penetration??? “Know your target and what’s beyond it” if I’ve made the decision to use lethal force I want to know the rounds I put out are going to stop IN or AT my intended target…

Doing something it wasn’t designed to do? Bull 💩 The M14 wasn’t designed to splatter 8” groups. There is something fundamentally wrong with that M1A build. I can shoot 1” 5-shot groups with my M1A Scout in a plastic stock with an old Leupold 2.5x scout scope on an Ultimak rail. Did it take some work to get the rifle shooting that well? Yes. Then there’s the 308 AR build. (That is not an AR-10.) If the rifle cost $1,000, then the barrel is cheap. That rifle should shoot 1 MOA or better all day long with a decent barrel. I would choose a 308 AR for a DMR role. Once it’s running right (and yes that can take a little while), it is going to stay that way. Mounting different optics and accessories like a light is EZ. Unless you get an LRB M24, there is no ideal solution to mounting a scope on an M14 variant.

Abandon staking castle nuts and use sufficient VC3 (after acetone / MEK purge). Trust me if torqued properly with VC3 it will NOT vibrate loose

All my 43x has done is just a baseplate that slightly extends my mags (doesn’t add capacity, just a lil length) and mag release swapped to the other side. All I will be doing in the future is a holosun 507k and a talon grip.

I’m not clear why they used the 43 with the flat base pad. Throw the pinky extension…that comes with the gun…..and the grip is much better and since you don’t have any extension on the back where concealment counts. To me the test without any pinky extension still doesn’t answer the question.

The best value is the HBsd you can find them for about 3k at some places and the silencer is worth about 1000 bucks but it only comes with that package you can’t get it any other way. And the HB itself is normally a 3k gun but it’s worth 2k all day long

so, I have the ruger SFAR. For all intents and purposes, it is an AR15 chambered in 308. I am not mistaken, it's not an AR10. I swapped out the muzzle brake for a 4 chamber brake. I intend on eventually putting on a 308 hybrid flash hider, brake, suppressor host. for glass, I have a vortex diamondback 4-16 scope. I upgraded the stock to a larger magpul. I'm contemplating making it a fixed stock. on that I have a 1/8" foam cheekpad. I swapped out the handguard for a polymer handguard for light weight. I can reliably hit a 4" target at 500 yards. it's not easy, but its my struggle, not the guns

I have an aero m5. Buffer spring broke 50 rounds ish in, Aero replaced fast without issue and it hasn’t had an issue since. Only have about 1200 round through it tho but no malfunctions of any kind, running magpul 25 mags. I have an older 3-9 leupold on it, would like to upgrade to something with more magnification, gets the job done tho, 2 liter bottles at 200yards no problem.

IMI don't play they supply their own people regularly on a more serious level due to the consistent attacks yearly. Heck you see middle aged ladies single shoulder letting a M4 of some kind hang off safety. I would bet my life on this ammo.

Winchester SXP can also be had for around $300. I actually prefer it to an 870. The Maverick is great too and you can usually find the security/field model with the extra barrel for under $300.

This is clownishly low effort content and this channel has basically turned to complete crap. The summary of this video is: "me and my friend shot groups with our two different guns in two different price points and we have no real conclusion cause my optic mount was screwed up". If this channel had 9,000 subs it'd still be embarrassingly bad content.
