The Coronation Banquet, was used for the soundtrack: Elizabeth (1998), when Cate (Elizabeth, main character) vs. Albert ( Lord Dudley), great Volta!!

The start of the song where everyone finally snaps together and music is made- it’s at that point which gives me the greatest pleasure to see and hear in synchronicity. The unit as a whole is both mesmerizing and haunting. It’s a beat that says, “I will not secede. I will hotly pursue what is mine.” It’s almost holy, like righteous warfare. ❤

This is REAL medieval music. every time i search up medieval music, i get shitty gay fantasy music. fantasy is gay. This is real music, Literal music from the middle ages, discovered by archeologists. Not dnd horseshit.
