I’m a filmmaker and photographer and just want to share a few of things I’ve learnt and continue to learn on my creative journey. Film Photography will be our main focus.
How was it developed? Was it pushed in development.

I used to have an older version of premiere but was forced to upgrade. The upgraded version doesn’t have the same audio editing tools I used to use and I haven’t been able to find a new effect that works as well for me. It’s been a lot of trying things out but I still can’t find something that works as well as what I used to be able to use and now I can find an older version of the program to used. It’s also why I haven’t been posting as frequently as I used to, I’m just never happy with the audio results anymore.

Great video, and nice pictures. I have a Canon P and a CANON 7 both in super mint condition. For lenses I have a Canon 50mm f1.4, and a Canon 35mm f2. I think that is an ideal combo. I hope to get a Canon 50 f0.95.

You have to set a standard first or you end up in complete chaos when you have more than just a single lens a body. For instance a lens of known top-notch condition which works flawless on a camera of known condition. Take that lens and calibrate your second camera to it. If you now come across a lens which doesn't focus correctly on both cameras it is either off in flange-distance or focal length (all russian LTM-lenses). But in both cases it is the lens that has to be calibrated either by shimming the lens to its helical or inside the optics between frontgroup and backgroup of the lens. Canon and Leica cameras and bodies should be 100% interchangeable with the same calibration btw. if both are still in spec. It's the russians which differ a hair in focal length for nominal "50 mm" and need recalibration... of the lens, not the camera! NEVER recalibrate a western camera based on an unmodfied russian lens or you it will be off with all lenses made for it.

Nice, i needed this comparison video to decide which one I want. Is the aperture the same on both? It makes it a tough decision, because one has a better quality lens and longer range, but the other focuses closer. Do both have slow motion option? Because then I can just go for better quality one and it's ok if it doesnt focus close enough. Also, is this footage yours and shot with this camera?

It won’t work. You need the right film for it. Instax cartridges don’t fit Polaroid cameras. You need to get Polaroid film for them.

hmm very interesting, definitely got me nervous now. I might do spot metering to be safer with my exposure. I really enjoyed how the motel shots came out. I always try to get my slide film as close to a kodachrome look as possible; i think velvia 50 will require more testing that i expected. Great vid Josh!!

Why were so many of these shots out of focus? Also Portra400VC's color is unbeatable, wish Kodak could bring it back.

The person using the 645 kept forgetting to focus before taking the photo. The Mamiya 6 and Kiev 60 were using film that had to be metered at 100 so they were using slower shutter speeds but that led to more motion blur too. Unfortunately not every roll you shoot will be good.
