Mostly videos from the archives of Alternative Records and artists I have worked with in the past. There will be some fairly obscure material from others as well. The goal is to show rare and usually uncirculated video material so you do want to sign up for when new postings are added.

I believe that I've seen ever Resurrection Band concert in Sacramento beginning in 1979. Praise God.
There's got be a real best.
Tive uma banda de 1999 a 2004, e fizemos uma versão dessa música. Top demais
Thanks for posting...she was an important artist during the early years of faith walk
Classic 😎
This is really good. This reminds me of someone else, but I can't think who.
Hey RANDY.... Posting this from Warehouse is anazing..they must have a large collection of videotaped concerts...Maria muldaur phillip bailey etc. And i also brought Jerusalem to Sacramento to play at Warehouse ministries...yes i did that.. is it possible to post a copy of the Jerusalem concert at Warehouse Ministries? Please....i must see that again. I was going to call the Warehouse but everytime i do no one wants to help me out, to ask if they have posted all their concerts archives yet?? Yes No??
The year must have been around 1984 or 86 that Jerusalem played at the Warehouse... I talked to Roger to book them. Mike Roe was there, all the elite Christian musicians were there to critique them...
Nope I would like to see that show myself but most shows were discarded and only very very few are in circulation and in fact some of the ones that the warehouse has put online come from my archive but only exists because I rescued several of those from trash cans they were being tossed!
I was at this concert, it wasnt their first at warehouse ministries. Glenn took me out to dinner at Dennys in Sacramento, we talked n shared Faith. I was born from above in 1977. I toured with Michael The Archangel Band. We went to Europe Netherlands. I went back to europe again in 1981, i brought my Rez band lp's, the first 3, this time i was all over europe, and when i was in Spain a younger than me, i was 20, young man from La Paz came up to me and asked me if i ever heard of Rez band?? Im thinking are you kidding me? I said, hey man come over here i want to show you something, i opened my suitcase to reveal the 3 Rez band Lp's. The kid was amazed. Later that year i was in Germany with the YFC group Oasis, and i saw in the foyer of a music hall, Christian lp's there, and there was Rez band lp's there..wow.. so i wrote Glenn a letter to tell him what i saw, he asked me about other bands that were like Rez, and i said well theres a band from Sweden that rocks named Jerusalem.. later that year i was in Sweden and met the guys in Jerusalem!! They asked me to come tour with them in Germany. So i wrote Glenn another letter, to tell him this, and to kind of introduce Glenn n Ulf Christiansson together...soon they contacted each other and set up USA tour's together...the rest is history..yes i did that, you can thank me and the Lord for bringing Rez n Jerusalem together... these are the only 2 Christian rock bands that i listen to..for obvious reasons..
Hey the good news is you were at the show the bad news I guess is that part 2 is missing for all eternity bad news part 2 not all shows and in fact most shows are lost to time
I was 15 back then.
The message is so simple and clear. AMEN!
This tour was my first Petra concert. Rock Island, Illinois.
What is the name of the song that is playing?
No idea
COSTA RICA, 😊🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷👆🙏👣🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷 1988, IGLESIA, CENTRO CRISTIANO DE GUADALUPE, GENERACIÓN DE JÓVENES
How can a track be hidden in side two before the first track?
Well, a typo but can't edit after posting. Hidden before 1st song CD TWO
What song is this a parody of?
It's a genre parody, not song specific.
Any more David Edwards music?
Besides his released stuff, not really
One of the best guitarist I’ve ever had the pleasure to hear
Singing Was not great then but his pkaying was amazing
If you lived in Austin in the 80's, you were blessed.
I would like to try that tea that Sam Phillips is drinking.
Fantastic stuff
Great singer!
I remember talking with you a few times Randy, I'm Paula, Roy and Barbara's daughter. My father had such a rich baritone voice and my mother had such a lovely lyric soprano voice range. It was really something growing up having them as parents and their rather large repertoire of music all around us.
Amy has Princess Diana’s charm
Cool!
She needs Love, not the political church !
His voice sounds low energy, like he doesn't really know the song all that well and he's not too good with tempo or rhythm.
Wow, that's... something.
Great lead guitar
I was there and this was utterly brilliant!
Wow, this is the one that I'm looking forward to.
I was a part of their "family" at one time. I'm surprised to see them here. They put out Bootleg, Colours and Mommy, in the 18 months that I lived at Jpusa. 79-80.
Watching this in March of 2024. Love this 👏🏽👍🏽
Great band and great music
Man, she was something. Love David and Derek on guitars, killer chops and tone. What a band. Thanks for this.

Great stuff Randy. Love Lou Ann Barton. "Do the hip shake baby". Classic Texas blues with one of the best singers. Wearing a big hole in the dance floor, yeah! Slim Harpo loves Lou Ann Barton. Drawing every possible sound out of Slim's Hip Shake groove. Bravo Lou Ann Barton.
Thank you I hope that this gets wider distribution there was a person who contacted me a few years back about a documentary she was working on and work on rights and never heard back after a couple of communications
Glenn looks like he dresses himself from donated clothing or from the Lost and Found or from Goodwill. He seems fashionably challenged. Nobody in Rez dressed as bad as Glenn. I guess when you spend your time writing good song lyrics and playing guitar parts, I guess you can have your blindspots. He surely didn't hide his bulk, or his hairy shoulders. There are also much worse outfits that I have seen than this one. There's that jean vest and the flat hat he wears. The man's fashion sense is SO BAD to where me, a guy with no fashion sense is making a case about it.
Bad ass!
The most underrated band of all time.
I remember him talking about Sonny
What is your relationship with Bill currently
@@randylayton5811 My dad still talks to him once in a while.
Bill was big influence on my life and a dear friend of my family.
Huge influence and many decades of friendship with my father. Talked to him recently. Are you in touch with the family?
@@randylayton5811 I confirmed his number with his son a week or so ago so my dad could call. You?
