Pensare Films is an independent studio founded by Robert Misovic in August, 2015. In the hopes of uniting Toronto based artists and making compelling, gritty, character driven cinema, Pensare Films aims to become a dominant household name over the next few years, capable of funding and producing feature length motion pictures, short films, interviews and music videos.

That is exactly how they fucked me on the GI bill! Everything was great and all good to go until I went to use it for school and it wasn't fuckin there! I enlisted with a small group of friends! Theirs was fine! My degree cost me $50k! Money that I obviously didn't have! Now here I sit 100% disabled yes it's service connected. They took care of my student loans, but I am 43 years old and have the body of a 65 year old and can never work again. So I guess I just sit and wait.. I have watched friend and friend take themselves out. I live on medication. I still hear people say this or that is fake or made up. They say what they want. It's just how they justify a life lived as a coward. That's their burden not mine. They will see it in their kids faces when they look at them. I say this because, yes I did read further down in the comments and saw what was being said. They can explain to their children why they were cowards and could only talk shit behind a keyboard! Even though I live my life the way I do, I can look myself in the mirror. My children can look at me without disgust. My children know that I have the courage and backbone to do what has to be done if needed. They have a father they can be proud of! They come from a long line of military servicemen! My family has fought in every war this country has fought! Back to the Battle of Cowpens in the Revolutionary War. That's a family history I am damn proud of. This summer my son requested that I be there when he takes his oath of enlistment in the U.S Army! I told him absolutely nothing would stop me from being there! Yes, I have had my ups and downs with the military. I enlisted in August of 1999. Had I made a couple different decisions, I would still be in. I have been diagnosed with ptsd, depression, anxiety, night terrors, I wake up in a cold sweat almost every night, nightmares, flashbacks, shakes, etc. I have lived with these for over 20 years. I never miss my appointments, and take my meds the way I am supposed to. Not once will anyone hear me feel sorry for myself. That's what the Gen Z and younger kids are for!

Definitely one of the best (if not the best) independent film of the 2000s. It shows how filmmakers can be at the top of their game when producers let them do their thing.

i got out to the same stuff. i never saw combat but i came home with no money, no job, getting screwed by all the red tape at the VA, had a apartment for a few months and lost it cause i could not afford the bills and rent. so now as a last resort i sent my application to the international legion in Ukraine. im waiting to hear back. the military is the only thing i know how to do so hopefully ill be in country soon.
