We didn't book ahead for this one! We just got a taxi and told them where to go and paid the entrance fee when we arrived :)

Beautiful. How is dji pocket 2 working for you? Did you film this on pocket 2? I noticed a little bit of grainy footage in the beginning, just wondering if pocket 2 is doing that. Great video though. Mary
Hi Marienne! Thanks for commenting! Yes, I filmed this on the pocket. If it's grainy, I would assume something happened when I uploaded it to iMovie. It records such beautiful and clear video. I'm still really happy I got it and it's working great. I brought it with me to Universal Studios last week and it was great to be able to slip it right in my fanny pack and be able to access it so quickly and easily. I will say that the white color has been interesting because I tend to keep it in my purse. It just gets a little scuffed more easily but wipes clean just fine. It just shows more, as white always does. I really liked the sunset bundle though, so I'm glad I got it, but if I could have gotten that smaller bundle with the black, that would have probably been a better idea for me!
@@lesliemccracken4678 oh my. You went to Universal Studios with it? I am actually bringing this camera to Universal is well in a few weeks and I would like to know how long did the battery last year? What should I expect? My package just arrived and I also ordered a sunset white. I am going to order a rubber cover up for it so it won’t get dirty ;) so excited. Mary
@@mariennecrouse Oh how funny! I charged the battery fully the night before and took footage whenever I wanted to each of the three days we were there and the battery never wore out. I didn't really take a ton of footage? Mostly just shots of our family experiencing the parks. I'm not sure how much filming you're intending to do, but I don't think you will need to be concerned about the battery life over the course of the day. Also, the rubber cover is BRILLIANT. I need to get one. I love how quickly I could bust it out if something was going on, and there is something more simple about it that doesn't feel as invasive as a phone. Especially a phone connected to a stabilizer. I also took a few photos of our family which I love having the high quality 4k availability for photo too. I really think you're going to be thrilled!
@@lesliemccracken4678 yes 👍🏻 going to unpack it now and hopefully will be able to set it up. Would be great if you could film a video setting up pocket 2 and which modes you used when walked around the park. I am planning on filming the vlog and someone said it only lasts up to one hour or so if continues filming ;) so I might bring a charging case I think they have one.

Nice shots! I’m surprised you didn’t get in trouble though- I was just reading the code of conduct on their website earlier today (because I’m going there tomorrow) and the last section is about drones. My takeaway was that they’re straight up prohibited from flying on the premises, unless I misinterpreted it. Just a heads up if you didn’t know that. I am guessing the employees don’t care to enforce that, especially in the parking lot haha
Ohhh my goodness you are so right! I just did a google search and you are 100% correct. We usually check before we fly it but were out of the park when we took off and obviously didn't this time 🙈. We aren't rule-breakers by nature so I might take this down lol. Thank you for bringing my attention to it! It makes complete sense that they would be prohibited honestly. We will need to be more mindful in the future.

Yes! There weren't many kids and even less adults over 40. It was a beach for the youths.
I love the little alleyways! The design alone makes the place feel so intimate and loving.
It really was full of magic!

It was the name of my late wife's deceased brother's aviation business. It made her happy I used that name, but not the best name really. It needs something fun and plumbing related, lots of possibilities.
@@scottmiller8186 It's hard to read the tone of Josh's comment but he was just teasing because we spent a lot of time reading the names of the other boats and so many of them are SO creative :) It's great to know the context behind the boat's name though! How meaningful for your family and I'm sure Greg isn't in any hurry to change it!
