    A lot of owners LOVE their #CT125! But a HUGE number of these Hondas are always for sale - some with less than 100 miles! Why? Buyer's Remorse. The cycle is slow, under-powered, and uncomfortable on longer rides. After paying upwards of $5,000, the new owners discover that the #CT125 isn't like any other motorcycle they have owned or want to ride. On the other hand, the #Honda Trail is so different, quirky, and nostalgic that the rest of the owners say that it is their FAVORITE motorcycle. Despite its limitations, they plan to keep it forever. Now imagine being able to buy this little, retro 125cc for HALF the price? More riders would both BUY and KEEP it - and live with the realities of riding a mini-moto. For an affordable alternative, see also the NEW CSC Wolf 125: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ap6kzcSYf6zemco.htmlsi=aglHuqc7jBrBi4NO

    1:44. Oopsy!!!! Long story short: adventure bikes are garbage! Here is why: 1. Tires: Adventure assumes you will ride on dirt. But, you must ride on pavement to get to dirt. This creates an unsolvable problem. Here is why: -As you start to go 60/40, 70/30, 80/20 for dirt, your tires get shredded fast and your ride is insanely uncomfortable on chunky tires. If you go the opposite for road, you can't ride dirt quickly or easily because your tires are slick with no chunks. Only solution: take a pair and change when you get to dirt. Yes...not practical or fun. 2. Since they are street legal, they are heavy 3. Since they are meant for long trips, the fuel tanks are enormous 4. Since they are street legal, they have a high clearance for dirt, which makes them super wobbly and uncomfortable on the road Solution: Get an sport touring (Yamaha Tracer etc) for beautiful scenic trips and an Enduro/Dual Sport for dirt. If you are a couple and want the best of both, well...may your back and wallet RIP with a adventure. I've owned the 1250GS, Africa Twin, KLR650...hated all of them. If you hit rocky terrain on an adventure, good luck. You aren't lifting it, towing it or pushing it. No way!

    I pretty much spoke badly about it without riding it. Just formed and opinion from reviewing the specs. Not one of my best videos. Pretty shameful. Should take this video down if I'm completely honest. I'm sure it's a fun little machine.

    i rode this yesterday and its completely bonkers.!! ive rode a lot of different bikes and competed in motocross for over 30 years so pretty knowledgeable in riding bikes. the thing that blew me away was the initial torque ! it would lift up on 1st to 3rd easily. not sure on build quality as i spotted coolant leaks and was a brand new bike

    Coolant leaks on a brand new bike? 😂 Yeah I think it's best to stick to the Japanese brands when it comes to reliability. But these ones are so much fun.

  • @Wanderer1
    @Wanderer13 ай бұрын

    What do you mean the first gear feels weird? The first gear feels very short lived as in it runs out of revs quickly before you have to shift. Kinda jerky as well if you're on and off with the throttle. That's common for lower displacement Kawasaki's 650 and below. Is that what you mean by weird?

    Bro , where ever you go in India you will find bike enthusiasts or bike lovers and if you are not riding a regular bike in India then people will come and ask you questions about your bike, but it does not mean that they do not have good intention. You are portraying a wrong image about India. That's not correct, though i am not saying India is 100% safe but incidents happen all over the world. You can not judge the whole country with exceptional incidents. I am really hurt to hear when you said in many places you have encountered people surrounding your bike and asking questions , that is purely out of curiosity not with bad intention as Himalayan is considered as a prestigious bike in India.

    Great review. I'll be devil's advocate and say that mirrors are subjective. Uncomfortable seat, dashboard from a decade ago, engine copied from different bike are all signs of keeping the cost of the bike for consumer low. I am new rider. I wanted new bike because I didn't know much about bikes and I didn't want to get ripped off or buy used crap that'd be sitting in a garage being fixed all the time. At the same time I didn't want to spend $20,000 plus on a bike that I might crash due to being inexperienced. So, this bike checked all my boxes: new, cruiser, and inexpensive. Now, a year and 4500 miles later I've changed my seat (mustang), added passenger seat and pegs, replaced rear turn signals and headlamps to leds, added windshield. With zero accidents 🤞

    I do not like generalizations concerning about the superiority of a big vs. a small bike - at least, if money is not a central concern. There is no unicorn bike either. Driving through India recently, a 350 Bullet was perfect. On my previous desert trip through Namibia and South Africa, my T7 Yamaha was too heavy, but i could not buy a decent 500 cc bike in Namibia at the time. Going back in time, Riding mainlhy off-road through South Aftrica, Lesotho and Mosambique my 660 Tenere was a great choiice. Same for my 400 cc Himalayan in Central America. In the US West, however, I love to drive my Ducati Multistrata Enduro 1200 or my Harley Dyna. In Europe my KTM 790 Adventure R is a good compromize for covering miles on the Autobahna and hitting the backroads. Yes, I would like to have a smaller bike for my upcoming trip thorugh France and the TET through Spain, but hell, I go with what I have there, my trusted KTM 790. Logically prefernces will change when I get older. I hope it will not be a Harley Davidson mobility scooter (their expensive and heavy three wheelers). Cheers

    I think the low weight should be so much more important than ccs to classify as small. There are 600s out there lighter than 170kg so who cares about 300s and 400s that are more than 170kg? 200kg should be the target maximum weight for any adv bike. 150kg or 130kg dry should be the target weight for small adv bikes. Dont @ me about road/ dirt compromise. A 40-50hp 140-150kg adventure bike with proper off road suspension and 6 gears is easily possible, but manufacturers just dont want to give it to us for less than 70hp and $20k aud

    So, you were a fanboy for literally no reason as any Japanese bike is much better than the English cheaply designed and cheaply made excuse of a bike...you said the Kawasaki is one ugly bike but at least it works properly, it's been put together really well and it won't let you down.
