All i'm saying is I LOVE when my chosen families buy me a cute, nice smelling set of bath/shower gel, moisuriser and spray. Because I treasure that stuff. I'm extremely sensitive and insecure about BO, its a whole thing for me ngl. Oh my god the “I never get any help” thing is so relatable. One time my mom insisted that I help her unpack after a trip and when I told her I had to go unpack at my dad’s she got pissed and cut me off her health insurance, said she was gonna throw my stuff out on the porch, and that I was never welcome in her home again and if I went in she’d call the police. It’s comforting to know there are other psycho parents out there

I've told my mom so many times now i have social anxiety, and she says 'oh i understand, i get it, i have it too'. I go out to a.. national park i think it's called? With my brother's friend's family and i became (somewhat) friends with my brother's friend's brother (i'm confusing myself) and she knew that. Now, we only talked through text, and I've also mentioned i have androphobia (fear of men) possibly due to having four fathers, being emotionally and physically abused by two (currently emotionally abused by my current step-dad), and bullying by men growing up. While we're there, i can't even make eye contact with him because, well, i'm having a panic attack and i'm eyeing the exits. She sees this and takes me aside while the others walk, we're alone and she starts getting angry and says 'just talk to him' in a whispering but clearly angry tone. I had the urge to tell her 'I've told you so many times, i'm absolutely horrified and i can't do it. Trust me, i'm trying, but it's difficult.' In the end, i never spoke to him or anyone the entire time, and now i know for a 100% fact that she disregards my feelings and pays absolutely no attention to me when i (rarely) vent to her. Now she wonders why i don't talk to her anymore. Also, the social anxiety developed due to her isolating me for five years. She, when we talk to people (finally) while outside our house, tells them i'm 'just shy'. I'm 15, 16 in a few months, and already planning to get a job because of how desperate i am to escape. I also have to step in for my two younger brothers because neither of my parents will. I'm not in a good mental state, i'm alone, and i have tried to /kill @s (if you play Minecraft) at least five times now because of the fact that nothing in this house changes, and i feel so alone it just destroys me. (By five times i mean i got ready to, then backed out last second.) Shout out to everyone dealing with these selfish people, because good god it's difficult.

The verbal abuse and the constant criticism I recieved from my narc parent and being treated like a tool became so unberable that at age 19, I swallowed a bunch a pills in an attempt to end the suffering. I changed my mind last minute and checked myself into the hospitali...spent 72 hours in the psych ward and when I got back home, they didn’t ask me where I'd been. That's when I got a second job, stacked my cash, and within 3 months was OUT of there.
