how long would it take to fill up a 77/4500>?
From Zero or just a top off?
It would also help to include the units with your values. Help me make sure my conversions are sound. You are possibly a paintball guy? So 77 cubic inches?
Based on some assumptions, a fill on your pony bottle from 0 psi to 4500 psi would be just over 30 minutes. If you had a larger vessel and kept it at 4500 you could "cascade" fill, or get ~85% of the fill done in a minute or so and use the pump to finish the fill really quick.
@@TargetForge thanks, I think it is actually 77cubic ft if I am not mistaken
@@DREKOWICK69 it might be better if we reverted to physical dimensions. What is the diameter and length of the bottle? Are you an Airgun guy? Or a paint ball guy?
Too big
Nope, just right.
Ok Bill- will you be purchasing one? If you get one, I wlll too- FT match in Concord with them!
It's ON Sir!
.22 or .25?
Whats the best filter for the ac2 . Thanks and greetz
Since this machine is oil free and has in input particulate filter a "filter" really isn't a requirement. That being said, an effective moisture separator that has valves that can contain pressure safely, would be a great solution. There are a few on the market, but there volume is a bit large, and they are expensive. I have been trying to work some manufacturers to bring a solution to market, no luck yet.
So little water I’m amazed it cools anything
It is my understanding that the VOLUME of water does not determine the effectiveness of a good cooling system. Moving heat from point A, to point B efficiently IS what defines an effective cooling system. Also, the rate of heat input fluctuation on a system with fixed parameters does not benefit from a large thermal mass. Thank you for your comment! Hope your pellets fly true!
Thanks
You're going to get us in trouble Bill!
How is that my friend?
New to pcp guns. bought myself an avenge-x and gx cs2 as first toys. So long story short. The ideal gx setup, is with the tuxing molecular sieve vertical.only downpoint is that its gonna take longer to pump, right? Greetz from belgium
Your solution will result in a LOT of additional time on the pump as that volume will need to be filled each time. Also not having a true coalescer or moisture separator before the media means that you will consume media at a fantastic rate. Thank you for your comment.

Can you tell me if this black disk belongs in the bottom of the grease pot.? Thanks Ed
Yes it does
@@wruehl mine was all bunched up inside the pot, I took it out and cleaned it, and then put it at the bottom, laid flat..
Good work!
Also I had to turn the grease non 4 full turns before the grease was flush with the bottom of the removable pot, All is good now 👍
Great interview with one of the original Wisconsin AirGunners!
Thank you PJ! Speak of the devil and he appears... Lol.
@@TargetForge well, i guess there is something to that.
Bill & Patrick in the morning Great stuff and interview with John Rupple was outstanding. I'm looking forward to the interview with Jason from dead lead air. I talked with Jason back in April about a Corbin Swage Press after talking with Jason I bought one. Jason was honest and helpful with tips and tricks to get me started making my own slugs. Now all I need is a break in the Heat here so I can try them out. Thanks again Bill & Patrick for all you do. Cheers from the desert SW USA!
Thank you Sir!
Looks great!
Does anyone know how this pump operates? There is what it looks like just a single pump cylinder in there. Single step to 300 bars is odd!
We do Jack, inside that "single" round enclosure are actually 3 progressive compression assemblies. Very clever design. Do not take it apart! Assembly is a bear. Go fly some pellets!
Hello from Texas, I watched your past videos in-order to purchase my PCP air compressor over a year ago. I bought the GX CS4, it has been a great machine. I have a question on the grease port or pot. I looked for a breakdown on the grease pot and how it is assembled. Because,,,,, I unscrewed my pot to see how it works..... ummm, there was a rubber seal in the bottom with no holes to let grease in the little grease port...... is this correct for a rubber seal to be over the hole? Now that I have showed all my mistake, could you give a breakdown on how it is supposed to be put together correctly and explain how the grease gets past the rubber seal? Thanks
Just put it back together exactly as it came apart and DO NOT MODIFY the rubber disk, there is nothing wrong with it. It is designed to limit the amount of grease that enter the system in case someone starts cranking on the knob. Also be sure to NOT mix a grease of unknown compatibility in the pot, Target Forge sells the exact same grease that came in your unit from the factory, and truth be told that grease for a sliding application is really good.

Have the same compressor and my temps are not even close to yours, my water temp always settles in at about 140-144
Interesting, Differences in measurement method and ambient air temp can create a delta in values. What was your ambient? How are you measuring the temp? How high was your fill pressure?
@@TargetForge ambient temp was around 75 degrees, using a probe directly in the coolant. Temperature definitely climbs slower at lower pressures as I filled a large bottle from zero to 4500 PSI. Even lower pressures made it to 140 F after 20 minutes or so. I’d only run it for about an hour at a time to allow it to cool off. I have 9 and a half hours on the machine and it’s ran great. Just worried its getting to hot.
@@spclarryy First, I don't think ~20 degrees is a very big delta. Are you using coolant or water?
@@TargetForge im using RV antifreeze
YATZEE! We have our answer! RV antifreeze is not very good at moving heat through a system. Not a wise choice for a cooling system. Try your test again with water and let us know what your measurements are.
Do you have a link to that charger?

Howdy sir. David here. Got the CS3 model. Sprayed the Dish soap & Isopropyl Alcohol mix at the locations you shared. No leaks. In your vid, you point to the OCV (Outlet Check Valve), located at the bottom of the CS2 model. Is the OCV the same as the Burst Disk, on the CS3 model, or, is it the unmarked (on mine) nut, at the bottom, behind the Burst Disk? Presuming it's not the Safety Valve, up on top of the CS3 model...(?) Thanx, David
Hello David, you might consider booking a session with me on the Target Forge website. I can offer expert advice in a more interactive manner and you will come away with enhanced understanding of your machine. They are NOT the same. The outlet check valve is opposite the high pressure cylinder bore. Thank you for your comment!
