  Why do you use substraite? I know lots of shrimp breeders use boxes, or nothing, or just a little substrate, what’s your reasoning? I’m trying to get in the hobby. Also what’s the best advice you could give to someone interested in breeding shrimp?

  I think you've activated a new quirky hobby for me 🦐😂🤔🙌🫡🦐😬fuck yeah just moved house got a couple empty aquariums imagine how many shrimp i could fit in a 55 gallon! But no thats my big guy cichlid tank 🙌🫡🐠 🐟 many years back as a teenager i kept and bred many species of tropical fish having been bit by the fishkeeping addiction i had tanks upon tanks so many damn fish! i then as i aged changed up the fish for exotic parrots and birds amongst others at the moment and i always believe in breeding matched colour pure to pure there is enough hybrid colour mutation nonsense in the animal world i can imagine it is also a issue within the shrimp hobby i will breed well and pure, over my years of bird keeping ive gradually seen wild original colours of birds become almost rare as pushed to the kerb by all the daft ass colours i guess a iffy topic for me! 😅😂 Even now 20 years later in the fish department at petshops i see all these new nonsense colours that didnt exist back then, I guess what im getting at is i respect your dedication and obvious knowledge and passion of your freshwater shrimp keeping hobby. Do you ever sell your own stock? Do you know or recommend any shrimp groups, pages etc ive came across these they are sold as betta tanks in trios i think like 2 gallon a tank is that adequate for a few groups of same colour groups in each tank i do love corydoras catfish to but worry they would munch the shrimps. Im quite excited to start my shrimpy journey 🙌 🫡 happy shrimping my friend. 🍻

  Hi Daniel, It's all in the Genes, Red Caridina will often produce Redbolt/White/Steel offspring, Black Caridina will produce Bluebolt/Blue markings to white areas on Black Shrimp. I could separate the Redbolt and in the future they would only breed more Redbolt together. By leaving with the Wine Reds when a Wine Red Male breeds with a Female Redbolt it will also produce more Wine Reds as well as Redbolt.

  It's Hookeriaceae Moss. Really hardy, I've slowly moved it around most tanks now and evicted the flame moss as a bit too fast growing for me.

  She has the most eggs I have seen in a long time. It's taken about 6 weeks to see the first berried. 4 more OE Females in the tank to hopefully follow suit.

  Hi Ray. I am using a Huawei Nova 5T. I've had it a good 3-4 years now but still strong in the video department. I would love to upgrade to a 4k quality phone but the monthly price is crazy. The one I have I paid off long ago and seems a bit daft paying 10 times the monthly contract for a new one so keeping the old timer going for as long as possible.

  I'm hoping for a Miracle and to see some Blue Oe offspring within a few generations. One of three projects planned for 2024. My favourite part of the hobby is the cross breeding.

  These were my Birthday treat about 3 years ago. They are a bit of work keeping the colour up with ongoing selection needed but 100% worth the effort.
