Ive known a person that had so called bottom surgery in 70s in SF on a freakn' table in a kitchen!!! Good God!! what a disaster!! how horrible!! Botched it Terribly of course. It was Very Expensive & done by a Licensed Dr [Holy fkng Shit!!!]... He did this to several people... The result was Hidious & Repulsive & Can NEVER BE FIXED!! 13 in & out silicone breast implants & high doses of horemones also messed up the outcome.. My friend has no gender. Was Never Able to have any kind of sex that was rewarding Ever... A Successfull Atty. Now Councels persons considering doing this.. Not to do this... & Dialating Never Stops!!! How awfull!!! My Friend will Die Early & has had Severe Complications Continualy...& Of Course [if youre desperate to the point of doing this for the wrong reasons] Like for Sex!! Dont Fucking Do It!!! Talk to someone!!!! For Gods Sake. Realize This.. You cant Not Be What Your Born As!!! Nomatter What You Do Phisically! You Cant Escape What youre Born Into. FACT!!! I am so glad it has helped you. It is hard to prove but in my case changing my name by deedpoll was great evenidence as it showed publicly. Showing pictures and your social media might help also. Just sharing you experience bringing in paper from you work or school addressing you as your preferred pronouns ect. I cant think of anymore right now but I hope yes helps you 🙏

i think the majority of transwomen who have srs have complications, but they either downplay the complications or completely sweep them under the rug. also, your issue with not being able to urinate sounds like you had a stricture - where scar tissue narrows or closes off the uretha.

Omg girl those doctors were horrible!! Any doctor or nurse knows how to put in a catheter yet none of the did it?? And your surgeon or part of his team not being around to help you is an absolute failure on their part!! I also have so many bad experiences with doctors as a result of being trans. Absolutely deplorable. Im glad everything worked out in the end, but you shouldn't have gone through any of that to begin with. You are so strong.

I can imagine the doctors were pretty scared too, even if they were rude... with it being a recent, raw surgery they had never seen.. and to be fair, in a vagina a catheter looks like it's coming out of the clitoris lol The urethra opening is tinnie tiny and lays under the labia minora right up under the clitoris.. I used to have to catheterize elderly ladies in the nursing home and it's one of the worst things I've ever had to do. I'll never forget this little old lady with dementia that was my regular patient, she kept a catheter all the time time. She would always yell for her children & husband. . Thinking they were there.. and her legs were contracted.. the muscles had atrophied, so her knees were stuck together. It would take 3 aides to pull her legs apart while I placed the catheter, once a week.. and bc of the dementia she thought she was being sexualy Assaulted every single time. It was Horrific. She was in just as much fear as if it were really happening.. crying, pleading, begging.. screaming.. then devastated until she forgot afterwards. Still hurts my heart to think about it.

Lauren -- Thank you for you advice / experience on taking estrogen. So, if you can't take tablets, there are patches, them rub in gel, then, if all fails, abdominal implants. If your boobies don't grow over the years to any significant amount, then breast augmentation may be necessary, but this is self-funded. You didn't say what cup size you achieved. If your cup size grows too much, it may require you to purchase new dresses and tops to accommodate the increase in breast size.

Lauren, some of the Drs are just so rude and arrogant. Perhaps if we tied their foreskins and forced them to drink 2 pints, they would think differently. Drs are no better than mechanics. One works with the human body. The other with cars. There is no need to behave with impropriety in the course of your duties. Perhaps if I hit his kneecaps hard with a hammer, and he was writhing in pain on the ground, I should approach him and advise him to rein in his passions before walking off and leaving him. That type just make you sick! Lauren, some hospital Drs only behave under threat of the Hospital Chief Executive, under pressure of a member of Parliament. It's because they are weak and nasty individuals who should really be fired from their job. In hospitals, regrettably, you need to record Drs names, times, dates, what was said and so in, so that undesirables are rooted out.
