  The amount of used materials in the video is more than what you would pay for a new tip ... I get the idea and the video is ok but .. yeah. Not to mention that this repaired tip will get damaged even faster now because the stuff it's covered usually is 100% gone after this.

  Here is covering 2 problems: recovering an oxidized soldering iron tip and soldering on stainless steel. I guess thou that the electroplating was noce but not strictly necessary, probably some fine abrasive would recover the tip just enough. It would be nice you write some explicit explanations of what you do and why you do it. In the end not a bad video but improvable

  That's very dangerous! Li-ion batteries dont like to be short circuited, they may explode. At least use a lead acid battery iv you want to try this.

  Suggest two modifications: 1- Instead of a cup get a whetstone and move it back and forth along the knife edge. Much better and quicker. 2- You can also use epoxy to stick button magnets to the face of the wood instead of the screws.

  A ideia é boa, porém trabalhosa e precisa de máquina de solda, coisa que nem todo mundo tem. Faça com papel alumínio, podendo usar inclusive os que vêm em embalagens de bombons. Dá o mesmo resultado, sendo mais prático e simples.

  Looks like more time spent than just taking a wire brush to clean it. Also more costly, you can get 10 new tips for a price of 2 lemons. Just saying, but hey if it works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ use what you have

  Careful with wire brush unless its brass it will eventually wear out the plating on your tip, also I run a hakko iron so unless you're buying lemons for $30 each...

  Umm kids, this is how you blow apart a cutoff disc and probably your hands at the same time. DO NOT TRY THIS just sharpen them properly on a bench grinder

  not a key that open all locks, but a way of making key copies, instead as a tip, consider using alcohol to release anything when using hot glue. ther's no need to use oil, or anything else
