  I do recommend Werner Kern shoes. They make top class dance shoes for all the dance styles, they have a line dedicated to swing dances too. The company is based in Germany.

  Thanks for the tip, I hadn't heard of that brand before so I took a look at their website and they have some shoes that would definitely work for Swing Dancing! I'd avoid anything with a narrow or high heel (like you might wear for Latin dance styles) as it can be a bit dangerous for Swing Dancing. But their dance sneakers look really cute and comfortable, and the low block heels look great too.

  @@joyuen3649 You're welcome! The quality of the shoes is superb, superior to many brands I've tried over the years, and they make shoes for wider feet too. I have a pair of their sneakers and of Emma Comfort low-heel shoes (and some more for Latin dances :-)).

  Just had a dance yesterday where there was a steal circle halfway through the night. I saw this video a few weeks before and it was immensely helpful for the timing and ideas for pulling off a steal that left me feeling proud for the rest of the night. Thank you for this lesson!
