Mine is about 6-8 inches below grade. Fixing to add an extension soni can level the area for smoother lawn mowing.

The title of the video is "how to locate your valve" yet nothing is described or shown on how to actually locate valve box that is hidden. An absolutly Misleading title 👎👎

Look on the ground for those two circle and square plastic covers. Is it too hard to locate?

if you cant find the irragation control valve you could just turn off the main water valve instead

... and for anyone having a hard time "twisting" their cover off you can just force/pop it off with a screw driver. Took me 15 minutes to realize that.

Recently I had a malfunction of a valve used for irrigation of my yard. I was informed by Rancho Water about the leakage after several days by Email. I quickly corrected the problem; however, a great volume of water, about 30 gallons per hour, was lost over several days. I use the Water-Tracker system provided by Rancho-Water. I do not want this problem to happen again, losing the precious water. I am looking for quicker alert response than a daily report, such as an hourly report after 9:30 AM the following day. It is my impression that Rancho Water reads the water meter on an hourly basis. However, this data is not available to me. How can I access this data following the reading of the water meter? How do you find a valve, let’s say there is not a perfect circle of dirt covering it?

I used a metal detector . There was a second valve going to the back ten acres to the barns and such.

It would be nice if you guys could post a video that actually applies to the current billing process. For example we no longer have tier 3 and this past month allotment charges were added to your customers bill. This video was posted 5 days ago, there is no reason this new billing process should not have been included.
