Cool a shout out to Rock. Does he still have his studio? Enjoying your set. It’s cool to see someone you’ve known. Hard to imagine we’re 72. Love from EastTexas. Lynn Raggio is still playing down around Bacliffe. Play on.

This is a really good video. But it’s also really funny in spots - like the one you mentioned. Mostly because Portnoy is the self appointed alpha dog - he’s a great player with a great CV, but his ego is 2X bigger than the other tree put together. Sometimes it makes him wise. Other times it makes him sound foolish.

Gosh, John, "Akron, Ohio" sounded so good with Sylvia's fiddle in the mix, and the bluesy guitar groove of "I Will Be Damned" at 1:45:35 always brings to mind the intro to Steely Dan's 1974 classic track, "Pretzel Logic." Love your vocal phrasing and guitar playing on that original tune ... and, of course, Sylvia's "Tri-Met" is way more fun than the law allows around Portland.
