  I think the new Battle of the Bulge set will really compliment the Band of Brothers set if you get both. That gives each side a light vehicle and enough order dice and infantry to make a solid platoon. Those kits should also mix well together to let you kitbash almost anything you could need!

  @@foxbat51 Tell me something I didn't know, how is different, does it tidy up the ruleset in a substantive way, does it make it more accessible but deeper for those who want it - this video tells me anything like that, if indeed it's a complete overhaul, or just a slight polish.   After starting WW2 miniatures gaming with Charles Grants "Battle: Practical Wargaming" in the early 1970's, i joined a local club that used WRG's Armour & Infantry and 40+ years later is still my favourite Battlion/Battlegroup rules set despite trying Spearhead and Command Decision in more recent times. The one thing I have tried is combining the WW2 rules with the modern set that followed as well as the suggestions in Ian Shaws WW2 Organization book and an article published in Dragon Magazine which expanded moral and heavy weapon set up times etc

  I was predicting Alexander the Great vs Persians but this is probably the best option overall. Splitting the starter set with a friend of mine! For Carthage!

  Much of Malcolm Wright's 'work' on RN camouflage has been proved to be nonsense. He doesn't do any research from official sources, he's never looked at any admiralty records. He is well known for claiming a Blue-Grey colour was Olive Green. Admiralty records show that paint was made up of a mix of Black, White and Blue pigments, so it couldn't possibly have been Green. He's also known for saying paints introduced in 1941 where in use in 1939 and earlier. He also claims that paints were in use well after new paints and schemes were introduced and ships ordered to be repainted. His 'get out' is that they used whatever was available but how would he know if he didn't research records? Paint things as you see fit but don't believe his books are factual

  I've been working on your 15mil Prussians they are brilliant having them in that scale is perfect it's been so easy to get into. Hoping to do pike and shotte soon. Hope you guys do a learn to play for that but more importantly you guys do one for Hail Caesar it looks fantastic!!
