There are jack stands under there. We were just explaining that, if you’re out in the bush, the wheels are likely to be your only option, to catch the car, if it came off the jack.

It's moments like these you need a Patrol......... 80 series front diff in forward direction is pissweak, in reverse the "strength" is far less.

Patrol front diff is 100 times stronger than the Corolla unit in the 80 series. Ever see a comp truck with an 80 series front diff (or rear for that matter)? Ever see a comp truck without Nissan diffs? 60 series yes, 80 series never.

You are only observing a static load on the front spring. Allowance must be made for a dynamic compression load at speed and under heavy braking. Those springs look about right to me, allows for more compression with weight transfer to the front, ie downhill, braking etc.

Love the comment, although 🥺 It’s probably more to do with my lack of cleaning them, as they are usually covered in mud. They are Direction Plus and pretty good when cleaned 🧼

I did a basic test but didn't switch my car on and got a flat battery. I will do one. I'd like to see what the amps do when filling 33s from 20 to 40psi. My 1st gen thumper was great back in the day.

Yeah. There may be more out there with higher flow rates. Jut not at that price. I just saw a new 4 piston one advertised with electronic controls, 2 outlets and 400l per minute. But it cost around $500.

Hey Eric. I currently have king springs raised. Part number kdfr-42hhd. I have ordered a slightly higher but softer spring. Hopefully it will get more flex.

Front sway bar is still in, with a quick disconnect. It was connected, during the test.

Yalwal stage 6? Never head of it. Monkey Gum consists of 3 stages. 1. Down Mint bush off Deans Gap Rd. 2. At the bottom you can turn right to camp, but turn left to access the Wombat Flat track that takes you to the start of Monkey Gum. 3. Never forget that at the top of MG, you still have a bloody long way to go to access the Braidwood Rd, .... or clean your undies & go back the way you came in. Very few have the guts to do this ... I did it once back in 2000 when it was a 4 x 4 track ... I will not go near it today.

Its the Redback 3" full stainless, the mid section is interchangeable, with 3 options, muffler/resonator/straight options.
